Christmas doesn't come until we have another starter & an outfielder
Well now maybe the dominos will fall. Btw the Bonilla kid we got in this trade looks to be intriging.
"Michael Young has accepted a trade to the Philadelphia Phillies, who will ship right-handed reliever Josh Lindblom and minor league righty Lisalverto Bonilla to the Rangers to complete the deal, according to a source.
Young had to waive his no-trade clause to get the deal done. A source said Thursday that the Rangers were going to have to pay at least half of Young's $16 million 2013 salary to complete the deal. Young will receive $1.2 million in "benefits" in exchange for waiving his no-trade clause, a source confirmed to ESPN."
So Young is gone, and we got a solid established bullpen arm, and a young pitcher and paid half his contract for next year, I'll take it
Scratch that. He was good withthe dodgers bad with the phillies
Well zack greinke could be going to the dodgers according to tim brown. Not suprised. Big free agent pitchers will never sign here..
Looking like a 6 year 145 million deal
Link?
Looks like a 6 year deal worth 145m. Honestly, if the dodgers do sign him to that contract ill honestly be glad they didn't commit 24m/yr for the next six years to a guy who may or may not be an ace.
Yeah but honestly the tax factor should of helped us a bit. Guess not. I would love a Price deal right now lol. Im dreaming. But this kind of bums me a bit cause this team needs to win with pitching, not all that offense. What if Darvish doesnt turn out to be a great pitcher that everyone expects him to be?
Trust in JD.
