what i heard was Arizona gets Cabrera (Cleve) + 1 second level prospect (Tex), Cleveland gets Olt & Martin Perez and Texas gets Upton

In that case AZ gets bent over with no lube! CLE makes out like a bandit and AZ gets little for Upton.

AZ just agreed with Eric Chavez. Guess they aren't planning on Olt?

Yunel Escobar flipped by the Marlins to the Rays, no need for a SS now

Good!

I sure hope we still have Miami on the phone asking about Stanton!!! I'd take Stanton over Upton any day.

Why would Miami give up a player like Stanton for a player guaranteed 38mil over the next three years?

I would agree if it were any team but Miami. Of course he is cheap and locked up through 2016, so they probably will keep him. But I'd call and offer Elvis and Olt straight up for him. Two ready to go guys, one cheap for a while the other cheap for a year and can be traded for a good bit at the deadline. i'd think they would have to seriously consider that one.

You'd better be prepared to offer Profar in place of Andrus. .

I wouldn't do that, then. but you could explain how valuable Elvis will be at the deadline this year and they could flip him for at least two more prospects if they want.
