"The Raiders are reportedly willing to take less than trade chart value in an attempt to move down from pick No. 5 in the draft."

#'s 30, 56, and next year's 1st for #5?

If I'm Baalke I would seriously consider making this deal. I would execute this trade and set the league on fire:

Jadeveon Clowney - DL - Gamecocks

Houston demands three first-round picks and a second-rounder to move down from No. 1 overall, according to FOX Sports' Jay Glazer.

Of course, there asking price is on a "sliding scale," according to Glazer, depending on how far the Texans are asked to move down. This news isn't surprising, as it essentially echoes Ed Werder's Tuesday night report. Nobody is going to pay this ransom, which is probably why it's being leaked. If Houston lowers its demands, a trade is entirely possible. If it holds firm, they'll be picking first.

That's what the Skins gave up for RGIII. Of course, that was for a QB. No way anyone gives that up for Clowney IMO.

7:57 a.m. ET - Ian Rapaport of the NFL Network reports LSU QB Zach Mettenberger's back was red-flagged by several teams prior to the NFL Draft. Mettenberger reportedly has Spondylolysis.

That can't be a real thing, can it?

Only if Watkins is some how still on the board. I don't know if Evans is worth the price. I probably wouldnt hate it though.

For Watkins is a no brainer... I'm secretly quiet about Khalil Mack.... don't think that'll happen but very quiet about him after Aldon's terrorist plot unfolded.

Evans, like I said, I'm not so much for him but wouldn't hate the pick.... Not sure if I go one way or the other if we hypothetically moved up to top 5 to draft him... If Watkins is still available then I be pissed.

not for trading into the top 10, but just looking at #5.....add more picks from this draft as opposed to trading away next year's 1st.

I think we trade up to the mid teens to draft Gilbert or Fuller with our 1st, then trade back up towards the top of the 2nd for a WR like Moncrief or Matthews. I don't think the value is there to trade up into the 1st to get a WR unless someone like Evans drops out of the top 10. But I do think we could be drafting a #1 CB if we trade up to 12-18.

this seems more likely round 1. for round 2 don't think we'll trade up to the TOP of the 2nd, but say 6 or 7 spots higher than #56.

personally want this to happen round 1, to secure a #1 CB. not worried about a WR cause there seems to be quality ones in Round 2.

Hopefully the rumors about Cleveland liking Evans more than Watkins are true. If Sammy slips to 5 we have to be in on that.

What do people like about Odell that makes them believe he can be a #1 receiver?

For me I don't look at him as a #1... not in our current offense philosophy... What I think he brings is an improvement in areas where or WRs are deemed weak or redundant.

From our perspective he's a kick returner day 1, correct?

He'd probably return kicks right away. He's far better than Lamichael James.

But I don't see him as a #1 receiver. I think Matthews is better. And Cooks is my #1 receiver overall.

Well if Baalke likes Culliver, I'm figuring he likes Roby too unfortunately. (Very similar in size and cover ability)
But we have a million picks, so best case scenario we draft Purifoy, Desir, Breeland in a later round and they start over Roby

He's head and shoulders better than your boy Paul Richardson who you believe is a #1.
