Lions go for the sweep of the state of Ohio next week.
We got the bengals at HOME.

Bengals almost lost to the Bills. there defense helped to get that win.
IF Calvin plays a bigger part and we don't turn the ball over.
we sweep Ohio!! seems so natural to do that don't it???

Lions 27 bengals 21

Agreed, but don't tell some on the Lions board I agreed.....I don't want you wrecking my reputation over there. They love me! :laugh3:

The only positives I saw were the Lions played on the road without CJ, The D-line still looked decent and Martin had 6 punts with a avg. of 51 yards, that is a pretty nice leg the kid has.

Come on man. Really? You need to look a little harder for some positives. I will always be an advocate for those who want to express a non-kool aid opinion but there were alot more positives than that.

The defense was strong again, 17 pts in the NFL against anyone (even though you think Weeden is the worst QB in the NFL) should put us in a position to win every week.

We won another road game, and on a grass surface. We have never had much success on either.

We put up 31 pts on a good NFL defense in their house no less. 24 unanswered second half points. We did that without any real contribution from our #1 weapon.

Even the coordinators did a better job than in previous weeks.

The o-line continues to surprise, including being decent in the running game.

You could name several more positives out of that game if I wanted to keep going. There will always be areas that we can be critical but the only one I saw out there that was worth mentioning was all the dropped passes. If that doesnt happen this game would have been an absolute blowout.

Pure Agave?

No. But did you guys know that you can give Jose too much control? As it turns out, you can. Sorry fucker bowled a 415 series. Hell. I can bowl better than that.

Meow, you copy and pasted a quote from me about last weeks game against Green Bay not this weeks game from Cleveland. You can find it one page 1....I stand by my assessment of that games positives....There were many many more positives in the Browns game.

No worries homie, I seem to get that a lot.

Detroit looked tons better against the Browns but I temper my excitement because after all it was the Browns.....

If they do the same thing this week against the Bengals as they did the Browns then color me excited and impressed, but if it looks like the Green Bay game, I will draw more cannon fodder for being critical.

Its where the qb starts to slide not where he ends. Head out of ass refs.

Just ran the numbers on Kris Durham's stats through 7 games this year.

He's on pace for a 50 catch, 500 yard season. Looks like we found a good career #4 for our offense. He's young, tall, and shouldn't cost too much to lock down for the next few years. Now if Broyles can finish the year strong we'll be in better shape heading forward in the WR department.

Broyles???? Ugh. Torn ACL in college. Torn ACL in NFL Year 1. Ruptured achilles in NFL Year 2. This guy will be lucky to have a JOB next year, let alone contribute.

The Lions recently had another guy miss most of his first two seasons. He doesn't contribute either.

Wait...........

This isn't a Lions statement but this is crazy.....

Georgia Southern Beat the Florida Gators today 26-20.......

That's not the funny part.......Georgia Southern was 0-3 in passing for 0 yards..........They simply ran the ball.......Dear lord you can't make that story up.

The matter making up Linehan would serve the universe better in the stomach of a vulture.
