I think it is two-fold. One it keeps the starters rested, and two it keeps Feldman stretched out. Not to jinx it, but long relief hasn't had much to do lately. Yes, I'm knocking on wood.

Knock on wood, but yes you're right, hopefully feldy puts up at least 6 innings

All what you say is true too but I think TAG mentioned that Feldman was going because Harrison's start in the first game of the double header pushed him two days and would interfere with his next start.

Question is whether the rotation just absorbs Feldman and slips one game to the right ... or whether Harrison is skipped in favor of him providing long relief protection until after Feldman is rested again to retake on the role.

Tough stretch for the Rangers. Already faced Twins and Tigers on the road, 2 tough ballparks for Texas, and now get the best 6 starters the Yanks and Rays have plus a roadie to Toronto where Texas has also really struggled in recent years. Schedule makers did them no favors but they are hammering through it right now. And Beltre returns Friday against the Rays.

May looks like a walk in the park compared to April.

Why can't Angels fans just cheer for their own team? Why do morons try to troll and pretend to be fans of other teams?

I said the Rangers are in the midst of a brutal first month of games and are playing great. And I said Beltre is returning on Friday which is good news.

How, exactly, is that trolling?

and it was perfect, if there had been a runner going from 1st he would have been out by a mile

I watched this on the computer lab in school and no one understood what I was so giddy about.

I actually got kind of choked up watching it. He's been my favorite player for as long as I've had memory.

baseball time in arlington::

In 48 innings pitched this season, the Rangers' bullpen has now posted a 2.06 ERA and a strikeout-to-walk ratio of 46-to-3, which is tantamount to telling the other team "alright, we're into the bullpen, so why don't you make this easy on yourselves and clamber back into your dugout and lay down and die."

:lol:

Wish ESPN would put up a Pujols tracker. Just popped out, so now 0 for last 21 and 0 HR's.

LOL, man sucks for them.

And Pujols got a single, but was thrown out trying to stretch it to a double. :L
