Scotty we've discussed this before, when you post things you read, I'm usually "attacking" (I think thats a strong word, but it'll do) your source not you personally,

Its called debating, they have an opinion, and I have an opinion as to why its hogwash, just b/c someone gets paid to "blog" away untethered about a conversation he had with the ticket guy, or his "source" as we'll call him, doesn't mean I have to respect his opinion about it

Haven't seen this but if so it puts a huge load on Frieri. Timing is terrible too coming after the deadline.

That could be huge for us. He was a rock in their very unstable bullpen.

That improved dramatically, and is certainly no longer unstable

Downs is only gone to the 15day DL ... but we know how that can change. I think all they got behind Frieri is Isringhausen ... then Jepsen. I think Downs is the key to their entire bullpen actually.

Having Downs out would be like having Uehara, Ogando, and Adams all out at the same time.

The TEX BP is far superior to LAA's. Without Downs ... even for 2 weeks ... they have lost their anchor and Fieri is not on an island.

It would be as if Uehara (who is still out), Ogando, and Adams were missing. With Isringhausen undoubtedly now elevated to setup ... they are very thin. TEX would be that thin only if it lost those three guys.

That was my point.
