If Feldman subs for Oswalt on Monday ... and Lewis is skipped ... sounds like Holland is going to have to go on 4day rest or Ogando is held out between now and then and hoped to go 4.0.

Don't think recalling Perez is an option ... he pitched 2.0 on Friday night in any case. Grimm is recallable and went 5.1 on Thu night so in cycle for a Tue night start. Someone will have to go down or on the DL though to make room for him (Martin).

Texas just has to be willing to be stubborn to the end and not give in. The Phillies are far more desperate to shed salary than we are to acquire a pitcher.

I would not give up minor league prospects for anyone other than Cliff Lee.I'm not comfortable only having two solid starters going into post season.Hopefully Lewis gets over his stiff forearm and is in top form by then but Oswalt will likely be plagued with bouts of back stiffness the rest of the way and Holland has proven to be inconsistent this season

I haven't had time for my fantasy team in over a month and I'm still in 1st place. Y'all suck.

If they sign Hamels, that is triple true. The will be chomping at the bit to get rid of Lee's contract, and he can block a trade to most MLB teams...Rangers aren't on that list.

I think Josh Hamilton has quit on the Rangers and his season is only going to get worse. Throw an injury in there and a stint on the DL and we're probably looking at the last 35-40 games Josh will play for Texas. Who knows what happened? Maybe he's pissed that the Rangers overpaid for Kinsler (which they obviously did) and won't get a deal done for Josh. Maybe he's got problems at home. Maybe he misses his dip. Maybe he's too worried about his movie. Maybe he doesn't care about baseball anymore.

Who knows? But the man has quit. His at bats don't even look real, more like he's upset about even having to play right now. NO WAY do the Rangers bring him back...and he knows it...so he's done with them. Really disappointed in Josh. Thought he was a different person.

Not sure if trolling or not. Hes been swinging at less pitches out of the zone then he has when he was on fire in april and may.

Not trolling at all. Do you really think Josh is having more quality at bats during his recent 7 week slump than when he was hot in April and May?
