He's a monster. I don't think he lasts till the 49ers pick now.

Also Malliciah Goodman is having a huge game.

Mingo was having an amazing day as well. His first step off the snap is just as quick if not quicker than the amazing Von Miller.

i hope ogletree drops, but don't see it happening. he would be a good replacement for brooks .

Are you not a Brooks fan? They just signed him to a pretty sizable extension this year.

basically let ogletree sit and learn the 3-4 for a year then we can cut brooks to save some cash. its not that i don't like brooks, but ogletree is a big time talent.

I have been high on him. He is a stud.

I'm not always pleased when some of my favorites show up to the Senior Bowl but this might be my favorite Senior Bowl roster in quite some time. That could change a little bit because some of these names will end up dropping out, but it's shaping up to be fairly impressive.

Right decision for Rutgers CB Ryan
December, 31, 2012 5:08PM ET
By Kevin Weidl

Rutgers CB Logan Ryan has announced he will enter the 2013 draft, and based on what I've seen of Logan, he's making the right decision.

Ryan had a productive season with 94 total tackles (5 TFL), four interceptions, 17 pass breakups and two fumble recoveries, and his versatility will make him an attractive prospect in the early rounds.

He's not elite in any one area, but there are few holes in his game. Ryan shows good versatility on tape, with the ability to play man or zone coverage, a willingness in run support and the ability to contribute on special teams.

Logan Ryan will be the fifth player since 2008 to leave Rutgers early to turn pro.

In zone coverage, he can read quarterbacks and come off his primary responsibility to make plays on the ball. In man coverage, Logan displays fluidity and good hand use to disrupt receivers off the line, and he can flip his hips to run with and mirror receivers downfield.

Finally, his ball skills are solid. Ryan is able to turn and locate the ball well, even from a trail position, and he's able to bring the ball in when given the chance.

Ryan showed well in the Scarlet Knights' loss to Virginia Tech in the Russell Athletic Bowl, and he'll add depth to the top of the cornerback class. He is a solid overall player who's squarely in the second-round mix at this point.

Greene continues to impress
Rutgers LB Khaseem Greene is one of my favorite players in the 2013 class, and he put a nice bow on an impressive season with his performance against the Hokies.

His productivity continued, with Greene delivering shots on ball carriers all day and recovering a fumble in the end zone on Virginia Tech's first drive of the game. For the season, Greene finished with 136 tackles (12 TFL), six sacks, two interceptions, five pass breakups, 10 quarterback hurries, six forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries.

A former safety, he's adept in coverage and shows good range against the run, and while he's not a great take-on player, Greene doesn't back down at the point of attack. We have a third-round grade on him at this point, but given his impressive skill set, I won't be surprised if Green works his way into the early part of the second round.

Two others impress in Russell Athletic Bowl
Virginia Tech LB Alonzo Tweedy looks like a possible Day 3 sleeper pick at this point. Tweedy is a bit undersize and likely a strong safety type at the next level, but with NFL offenses spreading the field so often he could be a valuable contributor with his versatility.

I saw Tweedy live against Pittsburgh earlier in the season, and his showing against the Scarlet Knights affirmed his outstanding special teams abilty. He is an excellent gunner on punt teams, and can also get after the passer at times.

Meanwhile, Rutgers S Duron Harmon appears to be a player who could be a solid backup/depth player at the next level. He's a big hitter who fills hard against the run, and his instincts look solid. Teams that like to mine the later rounds could find good value in the back of the draft with a player like Harmon.

Okafor builds momentum
Texas DE Alex Okafor turned plenty of heads with his 4.5-sack performance against Oregon State in the Alamo Bowl.

Okafor showed the ability to convert speed to power as a pass-rusher, and he used his length well when bending the edge. He also played with good leverage and displayed the ability to lock out against blockers as a run defender.

A senior who played hard all season on a defense that was disappointing as a whole, Okafor is the kind of proven entity and high-character player NFL teams like. Some early-round prospects will let up in bowl games in order to protect themselves, but Okafor kept the pedal down and closed his career on a high note.

He appears headed for the second round at this point, and it wouldn't surprise me if he got into the back half of the first round before all is said and done.

Good source told me that Texas A&M OT Jake Matthews is staying in school - He would be shocked if he entered 2013 Draft.

I'm admittedly not super up-to-speed on prospects etc., but it seems like this might be a decent year for DL prospects? Can anyone confirm/call BS?

Well I would be shocked if he doesn't. He's a great prospect and would have been a first rounder.
