17 - 15 (5-4 plus 2) will not get Huskers into dance. They need at least 19/20 wins, need to go 7 - 2, and then plus 2. 19-14 with strong SOS will put them on bubble.

If we get to 19 wins we will get in as an 8-10 seed. With our SOS and the wins we have managed thus far, 19 wins doesn't put us on any bubble.....it puts us square in the tourney.

The times have changed. There is a plus 4 system now.

A few years ago we made it in with ease with 19 wins and average SOS. Not to mention, we really had 2 quality wins that year. We have 4 already this season.

This is a unique situation we're in this year. The committee isn't fooled by the number of wins and losses over all. They look at quality wins as well as what a team has done down the stretch. Also injuries play a big part in it.

Need Morrow back though to even have a chance at that. This team looked decent tonight but not good enough while he's been out. Really wish they would have e scratched out 1 or 2 of those buzzer beater losses, it wouldn't look quite as daunting then.

Morrow won't be back I feel. Orthopedic injuries are so hard to come back from. But when you are jumping on it and running on it. It's even more difficult.

I agree we need Morrow back.

At the same time, if there was ever a game where we needed a strong post presence, this was it. Purdue is arguably as good as any team in the country down low, and we held our own today. And we did it with Chewmonga being a true frosh and MJ having the flu and needing an IV hooked to his veins during every break.

I don't know how we did it. Sometimes you just have that much heart. With this team, it's hard to predict what they're gonna do.

We will see, I don't think they will get in with 18. The IU win doesn't mean much anymore. One out of conference win against a decent team (Dayton) is not much, need a few more. Don't get me wrong, I hope they get in, but think they need 19+

I have zero faith that this team will make the tournament. None. And I'm not being negative. I just don't see them stringing together 7 more wins, much less 8. If they win 3 more games in conference it would meet my expectations at this point. That puts them at 7-11 in conference and 13-17 overall which doesn't even get them an NIT bid obviously.

Getting them to 17 or 18 wins at this point just seems too far fetched

Yes, don't think we have to worry about them being in or on the bubble, a nice NIT run would be good to see though.
