When you consider that the reason they may end up out in the first round is injuries to their 2 best players, why not?
Other question is if you are the Lakers and went out in round 1 (if they do) do you want to pick up the guy who has certainly missed his share of games and playoff games?

A team with DeAndre Jordan as your 3rd best player isn't championship caliber. Blake was their best player and he was never a superstar.
and he was often injured as well in the playoffs.

Well this is just wrong. Way to go Nike.

Vanessa Bryant upset someone has Gianna tribute shoes that weren't supposed to be sold

Vanessa Bryant is trying to figure out how somehow has a custom she made for her daughter that was not approved for sale. She designed the shoe to honor her daughter. But she never signed a contract with Nike approving the sale of the shoe.
Shocked that Nike would do such a thing, shocker I tell you.

Yeah, Drummond is in the way too.

Have you every seen LeBron play this passively?

I haven’t. At least not since the Finals against the Mavs. And I have been watching him a long time.

You should HOPE he is playing injured. Because if he isn’t, we may have seen the last of King James as a dominant force. And the Lakers would need a lot more help to be contenders next year.

Having had more than my fair share of ankle sprains, etc.

There is a point where you can play with some of your normal moves, etc. But other moves are still a little more difficult. Some of the stuff Lebron was doing in game 4 were straight ahead and going up for a dunk or layup. Even his spin moves are likely available for him. But, explosive moves and sharp cuts can still be tough. Also, it can still get sore over the course of a game.

To me, it looks like that is the stage he is at.

If LeBron falls to 14-1 in the first round his legacy is ruined. You know it. I know it. And damn sure he knows it.

If you're talking about CP3, that would definitely be a concern. As far as CP3 goes, I don't think the Lakers could clear the cap space they'd need anyway.

Exactly.

Which explains perfectly why he can make explosive plays on occasion, yet still not be himself.

Reminds me a lot of watching Curry in 2016.

Anyone think Davis plays at all? Vegas seems to be saying no with the line.

Fwiw, when Davis was healthy, this line up (Gasol/Davis/Lebron/KCP/Schroder) was their best line up. I think they were like a +14, which was among the top 5 man line ups in the NBA. It's a smallish sample size though due to injuries and Vogel's constant fucking around with rotations this year. Also makes you wonder why the fuck Vogel waited this fucking long. He's done a pretty poor job this year after some good stuff last season.

How about Jerry West threatening to resign if they traded Draymond and Klay (yes both of them) for Kevin Love? Almost happened. Yuck.
Yikes that would have been the dumbest trade of all time

I had my doubts from the beginning about the Lakers due to their many injuries. I won't say its over, but well...

Crowder was pretty clearly due to see a handful go through. Lets see if he can keep it up all game and make about 3 more by games end.

Reminding me of Jamal Murray last year, can’t miss. Problem is the Lakers aren’t shooting well and definitely aren’t healthy, just not the same team with bad outside shooting. Suns keep it up, this will be over quick
