bleacher report has their first round draft.. based, obviously, off of college only and pre-combine.

Interestingly, C. Davis goes as the 1st WR above Williams. And he goes top 5 (to TEN), while Williams goes to ARIZ at 13.

They have us getting CB Lattimore

First OL off the board is just 1 pick before us (to IND) Ryan Ramczyk, OT.

I think we will have to get above ARIZ if we are going after a WR this way. If so, who is the most likely trade partner? Would the Browns (at 12) deal with us again right now??

The more I follow Bleacher Report, the less I think I should. They seem to be marginal click-bait at this point. That said, Lattimore is a Top 3 CB, so I'll gladly take him at 14/15. I've bought into the notion of signing a proven (semi-proven) veteran (e.g. Stills, Britt) and looking in the 3rd/4th for a WR.

My favorite pre-draft toy - First Pick. It seems fine sometimes, seems ridiculously flawed other times. Lattimore going to us.

Round 1 Pick 15: Marshon Lattimore, CB, Ohio State
Round 2 Pick 11: Carl Lawson, DE, Auburn
I thought hard on CB Tankersley (double dip on CBs) and OLB Reddick, but we need a legit pass rusher
Round 3 Pick 10: ArDarius Stewart, WR, Alabama
2016 production, with a true freshman QB, does not match talent - solid 2nd tier WR
Round 4 Pick 12: Samaje Perine, RB, Oklahoma
A Perine-Smallwood pair will be nice for the next year or two until they figure out which one becomes a feature back (if any)
Round 4 Pick 33: Taywan Taylor, WR, Western Kentucky
Slot WR - not from a pro-style offense, but he shows up versus big teams ('Bama, LSU, etc.)
Round 5 Pick 11: Channing Stribling, CB, Michigan
High ceiling - very good target:reception ratio (~50%) (Norman = 47%)
Round 6 Pick 10: Charles Walker, DT, Oklahoma
With Bennie likely not being re-signed, waiting this long for a DT was not ideal, but BPA required it
Round 7 Pick 12: Tashawn Bower, OLB, LSU
Don't know where he fits right now, but can be a special teams contributor until he puts on some weight and decides if he can be an NFL LB

Problems:
- A draft without an OL pick? Seems weird. Barbre must be kept, with this draft, maybe even Kelce.
- OLB is a bigger hole that is being reported in the media - this draft didn't address that.
- No developmental QB, but Kelly, Webb, or Hobbs may be a UDRFA. Jeeze, this really is a sucky QB class.
