In a 7 game series, I think the same could be said about my pen. Marshall and Sutter both won Cy Youngs, Carlton and Palmer combined for 7. That's 9 Cy Youngs, plus Morris and Richard, who would have been a HOF pitcher if not for the stroke. Crazy first round matchup, I think you're lineup is sick

Marshall and Sutter can't take Eck, Rollie, Knowles, Tippy who all closed out WS championships and a lot of them...its about as close as the SPs matchups, good but not quite...Eck and Rollie not only got 2 Cy Youngs also but 2 MVP's also.

wow, the offense is easy to figure out but didn't think it was that close in pitching after seeing the ERA and Whip numbers

The issue H has with the pitching stats is that he dropped a batter and added a career starter to the bullpen. I used the best season for the role the owner put the player in, and Andujar wasn't even close to average in this draft when it came to being a reliever. Palmer and Carlton put up amazing #'s in this but Morris' ERA/WHIP were average (though everything else was really good) while everyone else ended up being middle of the road.
