Well, Penn State choked. Minny is good, but we gave the game away. Came back strong on defense, but the offense is erratic. No way they beat Ohio State with this offense. the coordinator is terrible. The receivers can't get open. :mad2:
I think the Buckeyes will put Okudah on Hamler. May as well use our best corner to cover your speedster. That's going to be a great game to watch. The Buckeyes have not been tested yet, this may be the first challenge.

Disappointing first half by the defense

It is one thing if you could chalk up the play to the defense being young and getting outplayed but they didn't even look like there were prepared to play

Bad tackling, receivers open with no apparent defender around them, etc.
A pathetic showing
Minnesota has a good team but Penn State should have won

That damn infuriating loss by the Sixers to the Nuggets on Friday (made all the more infuriating because I live in the Denver area)
Penn State shitting the bed on Saturday
Good thing Eagles are not playing - might have ended up as the depression trifecta this weekend :heh:

Hidden gem at slot WR playing for Hawaii by the name of Jojo Ward. Keeping my eye on this kid.

Just watched the Alabama-LSU game. Wild game first of all. Most amazing thing I saw...Edwards-Helaire. It’s like watching Sproles 2.0. Kid is phenomenal!

Yep, size-wise and moves-wise they are very similar ... Sproles was more explosive though in his prime. E-H is a bit more powerful.

All well and good but Howie is still in charge of the draft. Ugh

Mall, you're getting your wish. Chase young will play against Penn State! Grrrrr.
OSU still gets favored by the NCAA.

Feeling bad unleashing the Predator on Cifford. It's going to be a very long day for that OL protecting Clifford. And good news is Baron Browning will be back and healthy.

I think it will be a good and competitive game and then James Franklin will do his famous flame out dumb playcalling in the third quarter. I will be watching who will be potential Eagles draft targets on both teams. I like Hamler, KJ Hill, Okudah, Browning, and I know I'm missing a few, but I'm thinking we will be picking later in first round. Okudah will be gone in top 10.

Browning is intriguing, but I doubt we'll gt him, mostly due to the Eagles' disregard of LB'ers. Any of those are great players. Should be a great game.

Sooner or later they need to wake up and get this position up to speed!
No more of the other teams garbage rejects!

I wonder if they are going to continue with the concept that what they need is more "Safety types" at LB (at least with all but the Mike). Because...the game is going that way.

I think there is ample room to field a squad of LBs who have speed and strength and can cover zone well enough. Six players of "secondary" mold won't make a great defense. It will just get you gashed easier.

Yeah that big “mike” in the middle to clean on the run and that can step up and take out a back on check down pass would be huge!

Hicks with a better injury history would be great.

TCU WR Jalen Reagor is another guy to keep an eye on as early as Rd 2. Many of the same traits as Henry Ruggs from Bama. Excellent speed/quickness and contested catch ability.

If we can't get Hamler, then Reagor would be my next choice. He's more stout than Hamler, but I think Hamler looks like the closest thing to DJAX when he was at Cal.

The Eagles will need multiple WRs in the next draft. Time to clean house at that position and bring in a lot of fresh talent.

They also will need to add players on the OL, as Kelce and Peters are not going to be around much longer. Even if Dillard is the future starter at LT, they need depth.

Yeah clean out the receiver room is huge must for the offseason.
You still have Jefferies and Jackson signed for another year, but a couple early round targets would be huge in the draft!

For the past 2 years, I said that they needed multiple WR's in the next draft but everybody insisted that they needed help at other positions, mostly defense.
