Penn State's staff has done a horrible job adjusting the offense this year after their bellcow left last season. It has to be squarely on the coaching staff.
How long did it take for them to adjust to the pass rush in this game? It's not like UM was blitzing 2 and bringing major heat. Most of that was on 4 man rushes with an odd 5th coming in. Down after down they did nothing to counter it. At all. Not until that final drive by them at the half.
Franklin is not getting it done this year.
