Fox has zero problem callingnour Grundstrom for not getting it in deep leading to the tying goal. But earlier in P1 Nickson says Byfield with a great backcheck on a 2 on 1, but doesn't say Buster created that 2 on 1 in the first place by losing the puck on a board battle near the offensive blue line.

Why does this dude get a pass? Why do they continually avert discussion from the mistakes?

100% that's what I believe. I have said this repeatedly, he has not progressed as he should have being a 2OA, he disappears far too often but gets points in bunches which makes his play look a lot better than it actually is.

Everyone around him in his draft year minus Lafreniere, who is a bust himself, has out performed him. I don't doubt the damage control at all.

That's exactly where I am. 20+, not bad. Being a 20A, you're supposed to be a franchise defining player. Doughty was a 2OA and he did exactly that in a position that is much harder at the NHL level.

This is a game he needs to be a difference maker, you aren't playing Vegas. He has been invisible.
