I think it's supposed to be worst career of any Super Bowl winning QB, not worst performance. If it's worst performance, than Roethlisberger is the clear cut winner.

Yeah. If you take worst Superbowl performances, you have to have Peyton Manning and Superbowl #50 high on that list. What did he have? 5 good passes?

Even he would admit as much.

But yeah he was sort of good as a QB.

Doug Williams had a great SB but career? Not according to the other qbs on this list..

2 worst careers are Doug Williams and Joe Flacco. I believe they are the only guys without pro bowl years or all pro years.

Rypiens was pretty bad too.
There are some people that rank that as the best or one of the best champions, though, and he made the pro bowl the year he won it all.

Jim Plunkett never played in a Pro Bowl or made an All Pro team.

Good call. Probably got beat out by Fouts a lot.

Had to look up both of their stats by you're right. Plunkett only had 3 seasons where he had a winning record. 1980, '82 & '83. In those 3 years Foust lead the league in passing yards twice & td's passes once, going to the Pro Bowl each year. Oddly enough in '83 Plunkett had a better season going 10-3. And in '83 Foust was only 5-5.

I'm sure he hasn't lost any sleep over that fact as he counts his SB rings....

What a silly comment. I wasn't talking shit about him. Make sure to read comment # 22 & you'll see why I mentioned Plunkett.

Oh well sorry to offend.... Or not. Stick around I'm sure I can get sillier...

I don't recall you talking shit about him, sensitive feelings?

I've never given a shit about All Pro or Hall of Fame.

Not going to start now.

Hate to say it, but Wilson has to be on the list. That defense in 2013 was f'ing ridiculous, Lynch was insane, and they had Unger/Okung (non injured) which made the O-Line actually formidable... and Harvin returning. Basically all Wilson had to do was show up that game.

Different story now... Wilson's O-Line is trash and no Lynch with a ridiculous WTF defense.

Wilson is definitely a great QB, but he had the luxury of mailing it in during a year where the read option was revisiting the NFL and HOF all time defense (top 5).

Yup, going there... great QB play for 13', but gotta throw him on there.

Hmmmmmm, Wilson was like 7-8 on 3rd downs in that game and made some great with a couple TD's, I wouldn't say he's one of the worst....

Man this is a difficult thing, They're just aren't enough crappy QB's that win Super-Bowls... I would have to say the worst one of the list is Trent Dilfer.... But making a top 10 list is impossible....

what are you saying here Phil.
Aikman is top 10 worst SB winning QB's?
Simms was every bit as good as Aikman and belongs in the HOF?

I understand Aikman is border line worthy, but 3 for 3 is just that.
besides....Aikman play pretty darn good when the stage was it's brightest.
