Not forwards, which is what the original post was indicating.

But yes, I would do those trades also. (though I'd focus on forwards if I were to trade Ghost. It's more of a need IMO)

Obviously don’t like it comparing it to Malkin’s stick swing and Gabriel’s boarding each only getting 1.

But what really grinds my gears is it being the same as Eichels. There’s not a single person on the face of the planet that would look at those two hits and say they’d are equal. If you want to suspend Jake for 2, fine. I don’t agree with it, but it was interference and if you’re saying he got head as the principle point of contact (debatable given the apparent shoulder injury) fine. But then you have to give Eichel more. Eichel’s is also clearly interference. The guy he hit is clearly going for the puck (not trying to hit him) and the head is clearly the point of contact. How is that not worse than Jake’s?

They happened on the same day and they probably reviewed them at the same time, or even side by side. How can you possibly come to the conclusion that they should carry the same punishment?

I've given up hope on a lot of shit in the NHL today. Officiating sucks, disciplinary is not consistent, and I still believe the Flyers are still being labeled to this day as a dirty team for whatever reason.

Yep two games is ridiculous and is another example of the bias in the BHL. Eichels but was brutal and blindside way worse. 1 game whatever but 2 is ridiculous...

Keeping the tiebreaker in mind, the Flyers need to win 11 of their remaining 14 games, and the three losses they’re allowed to have really cannot come in their four games versus the Canadiens, Penguins, or Hurricanes. And with half of their remaining games coming over the next two weeks, it won’t be long until we find out if they can really make another late season run, or if they’ll fall just short.
