Another tough game tonight. The only team with a true losing record that we've played to date is Florida and I think we can all agree that they are a much better than their 2-3-3 record shows.

It's not at all an excuse for poor play, but we could end up playing only two losing teams in the entire month of October (12 games).

Despite being on the road in Boston, based on our current win/loss pattern, we're due to score 5+ goals and win. However, a mauling like the San Jose game would also complete the rotation.

I'll take Giroux to score first. He is way overdue for another goal.

Sick and tired of watching Andrew MacDonald play on this team. He fumbles the puck deep in his own zone and then screens Elliott on the shot by their dinosaur, which resulted in the first goal against. Then he's at the other side of the net guarding nobody while DeBrusk sits alone in front to tip in the second goal on the power play.

Get rid of this fucking guy, please. We have better options defensively. Provy is looking more like himself and Sanheim is clearly improving too. They must not want to call up Myers, but he's probably an upgrade over MacDonald today. If not, at least he could learn and grow instead of a 10 year vet that is making rookie mistakes.

I hate to say it, but at times the errors are so blatant that it looks like we're tanking.

G, Coots, and Simmer, need to remove the letters from their jerseys....
They can't get these guys motivated, and the other vets on this team are no better.
And Mr Perfect hair Hakstol needs to take these guys to the woodshed or get a ticket out of town.

I think you can read into the scrums in the 3rd, extra penalties and Ghost cracking his stick over the post to close out the game that we're a pretty frustrated team right now.

Not a lot to be proud of from this game. The penalty kill continues to be dreadful and just not enough pressure offensively. Easy game for Halak out there.
