I am thinking the same. Once Neuvy/JvR are healthy and in game shape, I don't think frequent performances and results such as this will be tolerated.

So, maybe he has until the end of November to right the ship.

You can sort of feel the collective frustration of the players, the franchise, the GM and fanbase as a whole right now. It's just not good enough with all of the talent we have out on the ice each night.

I think you can read into the scrums in the 3rd, extra penalties and Ghost cracking his stick over the post to close out the game that we're a pretty frustrated team right now.

Not a lot to be proud of from this game. The penalty kill continues to be dreadful and just not enough pressure offensively. Easy game for Halak out there.

Halak easily outplayed Elliott goaltending is the shits you need at least one save Halak had 5-6 grade A saves and he's a fuckin backup! McDonald is also a piece of shit definitely give a kid a chance. Something wrong here...

If I were in charge i'd actually shake the lines up instead of this garbage 1 guy in 1 guy out. I can pretty much guarantee Vorobyev in for Lindblom tomorrow will be the only change. What a joke. If you're not going to make a trade or fire the coach, you gotta do something else to shake things up.

Hakstol has had this thing if someone screws up he gives that player a healthy scratch, and I get it.
But he needs to make a statement and start giving the vets that fuck up a healthy scratch!!! Put this team on notice, make them realize just because you've got a letter on your Jersey doesn't mean you have immunity.
Shit games happen, we all get it. But these guys can't string two wins together for nothing. It's like they win, pressure is off and they take the next game off. These guys are playing no where near their potential and that makes it that much shittier.

I don't either mall. This is just beyond ridiculous at this point. I try to be patient because I really do think Hextall is putting together a talented team. But if this team isn't an example of "talent isn't everything" I don't know what is. How many teams can say they have guys that were..

4th in Hart (Giroux)
10th in Norris (Ghost)
2nd in Selke (Couturier)

Not to mention Provorov who led the league in goals for blueliners (with limited PP help), Voracek who was 15th in points. Patrick and Konecny who scored at above average 1st liner rates in the second half. And adding JvR who was 14th in goals.

There's so much talent on this team and the product on the ice is absolutely dreadful.

IDK man, In my opinion, Weiss, Lehtera, and Laughton/Knight have been one of the more solid lines all season, if they just had someone who could score on that line. I myself would put Simmer on that line. He's just as adept skating around and watching from there.
