That would be an interesting Series. I hate the Sox, so I really hope that doesn't happen.

I'd watch that.

I'm not sold on the Sox just yet, but that Cubs team is gud, we saw that last year. And this year, they're going to win the division, since the Cards blow...they might end up the top seed.

Mike Leake is 0-3 in 6 starts with an ERA of 6.03
Adam Wainwright is 2-3 in 6 starts with 6.68

Its amazing that the Cardinals aren't in last place with how their payroll is constructed. They had no business beating the Phillies last night but the Phillies did Phillies things.

Arod placed on the DL

He is about the very last player on that offense I needed to see go on the DL

Yeah, Matt Latos is absolutely not going to continue to pitch like that, you can take that to the bank

Quintana is very solid, be even he is pitching just too far out of this world to keep it up

Sale is just great

Rodon continues to be pretty underwhelming

Improved lineup from last season, and I could see them in a race for the division/WC, but this pace will come to an end soon

One can still hope tho, amirite?

Oh, mos' de'nitly...mos' de'nitly.

Too bad our Mets are in the toughest division in Baseball, it's gonna be a hard slog to repeat as runners-up

I'm still not sold on the Nats. Its only a matter of time for Strasburg goes down again.

Me either, not particularly for that reason, but i dont love that lineup, and thats before you know any combination of Rendon, Zimmerman and Werth go down

Plus, I still think Dusty Baker is a shitty manager. Its only a matter of time before they self destruct.

I just looked at their schedule, the next 15 games are against Atlanta, Miami, and Cincinnati. The Reds swept the Phillies to open the season but they've gone in opposite directions since then.

Lookout, Nats!

Having ATL on the schedule will certainly help. The Reds are just awful right now.

I thought Latos could be a good pickup for someone, but he's striking out 4.6 batters per 9 IP so far. The league average strikeout rate is 8.1. Latos isn't a groundball pitcher.

I'll say under, just because that's a shitload of wins. I do believe they are the best team, though.
I've got a buddy at work giving me 3-1 on that bet. I realistically think 101 or 102 but for 3-1 I may have to take it. I do love the overreacting media who is now debating if the Cubs are going to win more than 116 lol. Slow your roll their gents.
