Honestly, the list is complete horse chit just for having Calvin Johnson on it at all. And putting him over Marvin Harrison? Putting a guy with 83 TD's over a guy with 128 when they played in damn near the same eras? Give me a break.
One of those guys had peyton manning. The other had....? Johnson was considered the best wr in the league for a while. Harrison never was thought of that way.

Well if you are making an all time list. You are gonna kind of have too.
But I definitely agree you cant just look at stats when you do. otherwise you would be calling some nowadays journeymen better than some of the all time greats. You do have to look at how they affected the game when they played.
Again I cant see the top ten list, but a WR I dont hear a lot about is one Lance Alworth. Defenses (from things I read) started with Zone defenses because of him. he was to fast for man to man. That is one player that helped change the NFL.
So is there a Charger in that top ten list?

Lance Alworth was on the list.

Per the list.....put up in 2016.

1. Rice
2. Hutson
3. Moss
4. Alworth
5. Largent
6. Owens
7. Fitzgerald
8. C. Johnson
9. M. Harrison
10. R. Berry

It's pretty funny considering half those guys were in or close to their prime at the same time (2000's)….which would make it somewhat irrelevant.

You seem to think I am insane for questioning this list of all-time greats. This list puts Don Hutson over Randy Moss. From years of knowing your thoughts on football on this board, I pretty clearly remember you agreeing with me that there is an arguement to be made that Moss was more talented than Jerry Rice, who is almost always listed as #1 in any of these types of lists. I had a thread about it on the Vikings board here a few years ago that actually caught wind with some outsider fans.

So let me get this straight, bud. You're telling me that you wouldn't call someone insane for taking a rookie Don Hutson on their team over a rookie Randy Moss if they had the choice?

Yeah, I remember what people say. Don't think I won't call you out on it.

lolzzzz Go back and look at what I posted.

Here i'll help ya.

My top 3 all time

1. Moss
2. Rice
3. Hutson

If you had watched him play live, you'd be 200 years old. LOL.

My dad (still living) saw Hutson play. Got to see one of the greatest performances in NFL history. Hutson scored 29 points in a quarter, which is a record that may never be broken.

How do you score 29 points? 4 TDs (24 points), a field goal, and 2 XPs?
