Well it’s painfully obvious the poll is not a merit based system. It’s more weighted to who “looks” the best, whatever that means. If you’re not a blue blood or perennial powerhouse the system we have is heavily against you. Minnesota and Baylor should be 4 and 5.

Both teams get solid tests this weekend -

Minnesota has had a surprisingly solid offense this year, scoring 31+ in every game but 1. Now they face a very stout Iowa defense on the road.

Meanwhile, Baylor has had a surprisingly solid defense this year, only letting one team hit 30 points on them. Now they face an explosive Oklahoma team that's near the top in the nation both passing and rushing.

If both teams are unbeaten a week from now, they're both quite comfortably in the top 10 IMO.

Do people still not understand. These weeks are pretty impossible to rank week to week...but in the end they got it right every time. Let it play out and stop bitching about a meaningless poll with still a lot of football to play. They will get it right

Yeah, I can't figure out why Georgia's loss to South Carolina is considered a "good" loss. South Carolina has six, seis, 6 frickin' losses! That kind of loss to Purdue cost Ohio State but not Georgia. Hell, Georgia's loss looks a lot worse than Oklahoma's loss to K-State, Bama's loss to LSU, Oregon's loss to Auburn, etc...........

Besides the win over UGA their 2nd best win will be Kentucky

This won’t hurt UGA near as much as it would non SEC teams (and maybe Clemson)
