What did he do?
My guess is set the Guinness record for lowest IQ.
What did he do?
Bama has clearky been better there than UGA.
I'm not so naive as to say Minnesota or Baylor would beat Alabama, but if they come out with these rankings later in the year to take into account how the teams have actually played this season rather than based on pre-season hype, why not just tell teams like this they might as well not try? Being unbeaten in a P5 conference on November 12th should put you ahead of basically every 1-loss P5 team unless that team has multiple ranked wins and barely lost in like the last seconds against another top team. The committee gets worse every single year
This is ridiculous
Minnesota is undefeated, they have more top 25 wins than Clemson, Alabama, Oregon and Utah have combined
Baylor had some questionable performances this year but they still are undefeated and they have TWO TOP 25 ROAD WINS, yet are ranked well behind several one loss teams with ZERO
They say they don't look at the other polls and they have a "new set" of rankings each week but this is clearly false. Minnesota and Baylor weren't ranked highly in preseason and now they're paying for it.
Also where is SMU?? How did they drop out? I'll bash my own team here and mention that we have no business being ranked, we have beaten no one good and have an absolutely stinkbomb of a loss to a bad BYU team. We look like a hot pile of garbidge each week and SMU would beat us by 21....yet we're ahead of them?? Do they even watch the games?
We beat a 5-3 team...so, basically another loss.Who else did Oklahoma lose to?

Football Championship Subdivision — The Division I Football Championship features a 20-team playoff. The champions in 10 conferences automatically qualify, while the other 10 teams are selected at-large by the Division I Football Championship Committee. From 1997 through 2010, the championship game was played in Chattanooga, Tennessee, before moving to Frisco, Texas, in 2011.I do that too.....and they use a committee also. Not sure how thinking an awful idea like voting teams into the playoffs suggests I go watch FCS though.

You are not very bright.
I was speaking eye test. Bama clearly has the worst wins, UGA clearly has the worst loss so the only reason for either to be ahead of PSU is eye test so if youre using eye test then Bama should be ahead of UGABetter wins or better loss?
or are you using the eye test?
I just googled it so i had something quick and quotable. It satisfies your socialistic need, go stay in the FCS and stop pretending to like FBS when it is just too capitalistic for you.It is 24 teams and I said they use a committee too..........what did I get wrong?

This system makes a ton of money the way it is, for good reason it is awesome just the way it is. FBS makes a shit load of money under its current format for a reason. FCS doesnt make a ton of money for a reason.Because I want rules and not opinions to determine the playoffs? Capitalism requires a beauty contest format?

There exists a system that will satisfy your need for "rules" and "equal representation" it is called the FCS. Why should FBS be the same as the FCS?? if you enjoy FCS more move to FCS if you feel the FCS is more fair as a team move to the FCS it is pretty simple.
Stop bitching and go watch what already has automatic qualifying for conference champions thus no opinion needed except for the at large bids
Nailed it.Minnesota is too low georgia and bama are too high, oregon and utah too high wisconsin too high michigan too high cincinnati clearly not high enough amirite @Wild Turkey
No FBS makes money for all the drama and pageantry and bowls and everything that has been working great for years. The FBS makes money because it votes teams into the playoffs? Do you imagine rules are going to advance four G5 teams and the FBS will go broke? How much money are all of those sports that place and advance teams by rule throwing away by not using a committee to pick their playoff teams? Why not ignore the game results altogether and pick the four teams that will make FBS the most money?
There's 0 legitimate reason to have UGA or Bama ahead of Penn State other than SEC bias. That said, it's irrelevant. If UGA wins out, including over LSU in the CCG, they have every right to be in the CFP.

GTFO with your retardation.
FCS is what you want, so GO WATCH FCS.
FBS is WAS just fine before the BCS was just fine with BCS and with 4 teams perfected teh BCS no need for more teams
no more need for "rules" which cannot actually tell what team is better but just says "this derp team went undefeated so they get in, even if they played 3 FCS no P5 and a bunch of poo poo G5 teams" That is what you want.
Penn State also has wins over #15 at home and #20 on the road, and their close loss was on the road. Bama's only ranked opponent beat them on their home turf. There's no legit reason for Bama to be ahead of Penn State? I agree with you on Georgia but not Bama. Bama's loss is against the best team in the country. Penn State lost to a lesser ranked team. Naturally, a loss to an 8th ranked team hurts more than a loss to the #1 ranked team.
I'm pretty shocked they dropped Bama out of the top 4.
