I liked Kaep and he had a couple of really good years and was able to win some big games when it mattered. But the guy never developed beyond that and took the next step and the rest of the league figured him out pretty quickly. He was never going to be a top tier starter again once the book was out on him. He was back-up/ spot starter and that is as far as he would go.

I gave him a chance, but when he got a delay-of-game penalty w/ 2 time outs on 3rd & 1 on the would-be winning drive of the NFCCG in Seattle w/ a couple of minutes left, I realized the guy wasn't just immature; he was football-ret**ded. He just can't process what's going on fast enough to succeed at that level.

I even started a thread calling for him to be traded at that moment because I knew he would never learn.

See I dunno. Again Reid has a job. His starts were good and trending down, he was a gimmick like Tebow imho

Again, Reid is a nobody to the public. He is not the guy that caused the NFL all these problems. Eli Harold, scrub of all scrubs, is still in the league, and he was kneeling right next to Kaep and Reid. They were both invisible kneeling next to Kaep.

Kaep completed like 15% more lf his passes, and had a passer rating 10 points higher than Tebow lmao. They aren't on the same planet.

Kaep trended down as the 9ers did. I had wrote him off like you obviously have after the 2015 season, but he proved me wrong in 2016. As the 9ers continued to sink , he actually trended up that year. He was a statistical middle of the pack QB on what was pretty much an expansion team.

Kaep had success early on good teams. As his team fell apart and his coach got fired for no reason, he struggled. He picked himself back up in 2016 despite his team being terrible, then got ignored because he kneeled. His story as a player was never really written, just as Keenums and Foles stories weren't after their Rams debacle.

Nobody in the NFL except maybe Matt Ryan had a better supporting cast than Kaeptard in his time with the Niners. Best OL in the league, best TE in the league (at the time), almost-HOF RB and a well-above-average corps of WRs. Any moron (Kaep) could put up good numbers in that situation.

He still had one of the best supporting casts in 2014, and the NFL had figured him out by then; so he sucked. When you can't read a defense nor see more than one target in the same play, defenses are going to get you.

But you're not interested in X's and O's; you're interested in his political stance. You can't be objective (Boldin had over 2200 yards in 2 seasons w/ the team, and your description is "old as s**t").

The supporting cast was more on defense. Outside of 2012, I was never big on our offense. Yes Boldin was old as s***. He was like the 5th WR on the Lions when he left the 9ers lmao and he was Kaps #1 the year before. Maybe he had good years late in his career with Kap because Kap isn't that bad if you give him somebody to throw to.

2014 lmao. Old Boldin, Old Lloyd, Old Stevie, Crab and Vernon with high drop rates. No speed on offense, marcus and Jon Martin on the Oline, coach getting fired and looking for a job. You think that's a good supporting cast lmao?

Ok, this post proves your contribution to this thread has nothing to do with football analysis. You should be posting on the politics board because you're a libtard hack. :trash:

Surprising to see his numbers jump with such bad QB like Kaep, under good coaching. He hadn't had a 1000 yd season since 2009 before joining Kaep.

His numbers went back down when our roster went to hell, and Tomsula was calling the shots. His age was already showing , Kaep and Harbaugh just revived his career for a sec.

Boldin was 33 years old and hadn't had a 1000 yd season in years when he joined the 49ers. Sorry bud, but he wasn't a very goor #1 at that point in his career. Tbh, he never really was a fit as a #1 his entire career because of his lack of height and speed.

And here's Kaeptard making the guy look like a legit #1 WR at 33 years old. Impressive .

Ok Kaepernick, prove it wasn't just about the Benjamins. How about you and Reid donate your ENTIRE settlements to your cause, then maybe people may believe you are not a professional Martyr and full of shit.

He all ready donated millions.

Your right he’s totally blackballed. A starting qb available via trade. No takers, pre kneeling? Wow he was so wanted then. A starting qb?!? Had for mid round picks. Nope no takers. But now he’s blackballed? Seriously? He sucked then, he sucks now, and somehow he’s blackballed? No one wanted him pre kneeling

He was black balled or the NFL wouldn’t have caved.
