Bingo

I would have gladly took Kaep as the Saints backup QB over Teddy this season
I think you are crazy. Teddy is a way better qb than kaep. If you were sending Nathan peterman our there ok but once the nfl figured out the read option kaep turned into a disaster

Wishful thinking?
I dont give a shit if he is in the NFL or not.
Logical thinking.
& there is zero chance I would want him in Dallas.
I already knew he sucked before he got benched in SF.
Rather deal with a chance of the unknown new guy (for cheaper) than what you know in Kaep. as a backup.
If you really think he would come back to the NFL & be just as good (term used loosely) as when he left. Is a ridiculous expectation.

I think he could return and be better than a lot currently in the league in some capacity.

Sure as hell didn't suck in SF, hurt I believe and not quite ready for his starting slot so Gabbert got a shot.

But he rose from Lazarus from the bench and had a very decent season.

Folks are just sacred he'd still have something and be proven wrong.

You too are talking rot. You have ZERO way of substantiating anything you just said. IT is as much speculation and wishful thinking as anything the "other side" has said.

I'd take him in Dallas in a heart beat to back up Prescott.
U mean like all of your speculation. Having zero basis for any of
Your claims. Pot meet kettle

Again, pure speculation and opinion.

Not really. His last season out was decent. His history indicates something in his game. Been to a SB and almost won.

That's more of a basis than blind hate and erroneous facts.

One thing I've never got is if the NFL does want this to go away, why is Eric Reid being obsessively tested? He's clearly passing them all, and that just makes a story where there is none.

He’s not, that was proven false

What I wanna know and what @Hank Kingsley and @Lakers+USC=#1 or @bksballer89 can answer for me
Is if Kaep was blackballed, and Reid was part of the collusion case. How does Reid hve a job and kaeperdoodle doesn’t?

Just my guess but there was alot more backlash against Kaep than Reid. Reid kneeled as did others who played in SF but Kaep did more than just kneel. He wore pig socks, then the Castro tshirt. Then his girlfriend came out with the slave owner tweets describing the owner of the Ravens. Not exactly the best way to try and get back on an NFL team.

He doesn’t speak out. He doesn’t speak at all. He hasn’t done an interview since the Castro disaster because he can’t be asked questions on something he doesn’t even understand

People are saying that he sold out by reaching this settlement. I just don't follow the logic there.

I am not claiming anything. I think what others are saying if he really wanted to make a point against the league then he would have followed through with his case rather than just accept the money and go away quietly.

No, I was referring to something else. Someone posted about how taking this settlement in a collusion case somehow sells out his protest. Just don't see the logic there. Settling a collusion case with the NFL doesn't mean he can't continue protesting against how police treat minorities.

Not sure he brought the suit against the NFL to prove a point. It looks like he brought the suit because he couldn't get a job in the NFL. If he feels like the settlement offer compensates him for that lost opportunity, he has every reason to take it. Something like 97% of civil law suits are settled before trial, so there's nothing out of the ordinary here.
