No, I was referring to something else. Someone posted about how taking this settlement in a collusion case somehow sells out his protest. Just don't see the logic there. Settling a collusion case with the NFL doesn't mean he can't continue protesting against how police treat minorities.

Not sure he brought the suit against the NFL to prove a point. It looks like he brought the suit because he couldn't get a job in the NFL. If he feels like the settlement offer compensates him for that lost opportunity, he has every reason to take it. Something like 97% of civil law suits are settled before trial, so there's nothing out of the ordinary here.

Just my guess but there was alot more backlash against Kaep than Reid. Reid kneeled as did others who played in SF but Kaep did more than just kneel. He wore pig socks, then the Castro tshirt. Then his girlfriend came out with the slave owner tweets describing the owner of the Ravens. Not exactly the best way to try and get back on an NFL team.

Most importantly he is Ground Zero.

People are saying that he sold out by reaching this settlement. I just don't follow the logic there.
He did side with Reid saying Jenkins sold out. He did the exact same thing

Not following your logic. Jenkins took a deal to stop protesting. Kaepernick is not under a deal to stop protesting.

People will say anything to discredit Kaepernick. He protests police brutality, and people then say he's against the troops. He settles a collusion case with the NFL, and now he's a sellout. It's really not that confusing. The NFL silenced Jenkins' protest by doling out money. The NFL and Kaepernick just have to be silent about the terms of their settlement agreement.

Kaep taking a deal is hush money. Obviously he has something on them or they wouldn’t have settled. Nfl never settles.

Again y did no one trade for him.

He was coming off the worst year of his career, he was covered in casts from 3 surgeries, he was on his way out of SF anyways, and he had a bad contract .

And there was still somebody that wanted him - John Elway. Kaep turned down his offer because it involved taking a pay cut, and stayed in SF for one more year instead.
