Overall that was a much better showing for Notre Dame. Wimbush was just too one dimensional in the passing game his best throw was a low percentage deep pass. Book can make the throws and distribute the ball the the play makers which Notre Dame have plenty of. Wimbush should consider a position change because that is his future in football and he might as well get a head start on it.

Yeah …. I thought we hung a bunch on UMass a couple years ago. No way it's been since 2003 since we scored 50.

Oh then the broadcast was wrong today because it said when we had 49 it was tied for the most points in Kelly's tenure. I just started at 2009 and went back. Shouldn't have taken the broadcast for it's word I guess. Lol

To be fair the 2012 navy win was vacated. But yeah the ESPN stats guys don’t watch too many of our games.

That’s the problem when you take the foot off the gas. You don’t get too many of those types of wins.
