Been a while since I've circled around on the b-ball threads...but what is up on these rumors and these players wanting out on playoff/title contending teams? Kyrie out of Boston? Jimmy out Minnesota? KD leaving? Just madness

Lol you are equally clueless on the NBA forums.... no one wants Noah or the 2 years left on his contract

Gotta agree. He's the guy you pair with a 1st round pick and trade that for a 2nd rounder now.

I'd be surprised if he isn't waived/stretched here soon. Only thing I see of note is if he'd give back any money to get let go. Then off to a bench role with Houston/Gstate or something.

You know as much about NBA hoops as you do about politics, or pretty much anything else for that matter.

Paul George never requested a trade from OKC.

When he wanted out of Indiana, the Lakers DID offer a trade and it got rejected.

Yeah, but when he wanted out of Indiana, the thought was he would end up in LA no matter what. LA offered a shit deal (27th/28th pick and Clarkson) thinking "who cares, if we don't get him with this, we will get him next year anyways".

That’s why I think the wolves would take Hardaway plus the pick...your thoughts?

If they got him to sign long term... sure. But I think he's got to wait a year doesn't he? Then can sign 1 more season for like 75 million more?

Ugghh that would be a tough one. I mean if he'd sign immediately sure, otherwise I'd want protections even if it was where he said he wanted to be.

Nope , the dumbass Knicks bid against themselves and gave him a long deal and about 20 mil more that ATL was offering.

Don’t get me wrong , he is a nice player, but not under the cap , and at that price.

The final deal offered by LA was Randle, Clarkson and picks #27 and #28 which at the time was the best deal Indiana got. Pritchard was too butthurt to deal George to a destination where he wanted to go.

In the end i'm happy it didn't go through. The picks gave the Lakers Kuzma and Hart and Clarkson was an integral part in creating cap-space to get Lebron.

I heard or not and. I can't find anything showing both players and those picks.

"ESPN.com's Marc Stein reported the Lakers are attempting to trade the Nos. 27 and 28 picks along with Julius Randle or Jordan Clarkson for Indiana Pacers star Paul George."

For an unprotected? Nope.
No protected. The Knicks pick is their own and they can offer it if they want. Getting late in Scottsdale , and I have some early client meetings. We can pick this up in the Am ...have a good night flyer

Butler says he wants to go to LAL, LAC or NYK. He and Kyrie Irving want to play together and they know it won't be Boston. Kyrie is a NY lover and everyone is 99% sure he'll be in NY next year, possibly before.

Ainge is hinting that he's getting sick of hearing this crap and just might ship his butt to NY. The Knicks want him and may just be willing to overpay. Celtics will win without him and may possibly do better without the "I'm Gone Next Year" attitude.

Seriously. Most overrated player out there.

What does it say about Kyrie if he leaves Boston? In a 2 year span he would have demanded a trade from 3 time defending East champ and then chose to leave another legitimate contender.

Kyrie is good, but not that good. I would not want him if I was trying to do anything more than boost ticket sales. Because it sounds like his first priority is something other than winning.

Take him. Please! It will make up for Olawakandi!

At least we did not trade anything for Olawakandi, the real damaging one was Marco Jaric. Cassell AND a first. that first was one of the center pieces that let the clippers trade for Chris Paul as well.
