No surprise here, Arty Retardy hit the list.

Arthur Kaliyev, Los Angeles Kings
A 22-year-old winger who two seasons ago dressed in 80 games for the Kings, Kaliyev’s grip on playing time has loosened considerably this year.

Not only has he endured a couple of recent scratches, but he also saw a season-low 7:21 of ice time against Nashville on Jan. 18.

Known for possessing a big shot that’s seen him put up big goal totals everywhere he’s played, Kaliyev still has a step to take in that regard as an NHLer. Coming off seasons of 14 and 13 goals, he is on pace for 12 this year.

I'd definitely package him out for something at the TDL.

Maybe draft better? That 2019 draft has turned into probably one of the biggest bust draft years in franchise history:

1/5- Turcotte
1/22 - Bjornfot
2/33 - Kaliyev
2/50 - Fagemo
3/87 - Parik
4/95 - Spence
4/119 - Nousiaininen
6/157 - Doyle
7/188 - Lee

Sadly the most successful pick stats wise is Kaliyev and that isn't saying much. I don't even think Parik (G) is Kings property anymore, thus acquiring Portillo. Spence is turning into a decent 3D but for a 4th round pick I'd say that's successful but I don't ever expect those last 3 to see NHL ice.

But 4 picks in the top 50 should have netted at least 2 solid NHLers which so far hasn't worked out.
