Harris would be the 3, Wiggins moves to the 2 and Lou is super sub off the bench in his usual role.

Also another option for NY might be instead Noah to add in Courtney Lee and Ron Baker. Lee would give you an immediate player back, although the reason I included Noah is because he'll be a huge expiring next year for some potential asset value. Knox would be a must to be included on that though, but if given the opportunity, I think they do it in a heartbeat to try to show Porzingas that they're dedicated to winning.

Wiggins has to be a 3. He has shown he is a lesser player at 2.

Noah has another year after this one. Where he is not an expiring I have to imagine he is a nonstarter.

I like Courtney Lee and Frank Ntilikina. Find another trade for Teague and let Frank and Jones run the point.

Sure. But why give up one of your best assets for a guy that you can woo in the offseason?

They can't really though. Butler made it clear that he wants traded so the new team can give him the max. If the Knicks don't trade for him they probably lose out completely. However, I agree Knox is way too high a price.

See the Lakers and Paul George lol

Nothing is a given. Get the guy while you can, especially if he's open to the extension which he said.

If the Knicks were one player away from being a contender then maybe it makes sense.

But Jimmy Butler on this Knicks team wins 30 games rather than 25. They need to build their entire team.

Joakim Noah & Kevin Knox

Knox is pretty much untouchable, and will remain with the Knicks.
He's one of their building blocks....along w/ Frankie, Mitchell & KP.

Jimmy B. wants to play for Fizdale.

Knicks should get rid of Noah, Thomas, Mudiay & Lee.

Yeah that's all well and good by why would the Knicks take that garbage back for Butler when there's not a single asset in that bunch?

O yeah I know that.

It doesn’t explain his need to be traded now tho.

This was purely about money. I guess he approached the team/countered the team when the 4 year deal was offered, asking for them to re-work his contract to have paid him an additional $10MM more this year. Obviously not having the cap room, couldn't accomodate the demands.

The Kings didn't make the list of teams he wants to be traded to? I'm shocked!

Knox stays dammit... I would offer the wolves the choice between Hardaway or Lee and next years number one... ( I know salaries need to match up so it would probably have to be Hardaway )... next years number one should be decent since the Knicks might not get KP aback before January or maybe the year. This is my Knicks homer proposed trade.

That might get them in the playoffs in the east

Lol you are equally clueless on the NBA forums.... no one wants Noah or the 2 years left on his contract

I honestly wish Taylor would just sell the team to someone who wants to move them.
