From Tempe, ASU:
To the critiques who thought he would not be.
Right now he is a good QB soon to be great if he keeps doing what he is doing.
I loved him as a Sun Devil but wished he were on different NFL team. When Carson Palmer retires I would love to see my Cards pick him up.

Not with that shitty of a TD/INT ratio he's not.

5 TDs 6 INTs so far this season.

That's not great.

That's not even good.

That sucks.

He got a loooong way to go before he becomes "good to great".

Good to great QBs do not throw more INTs than TDs. Period!

I remember when Trevor Siemian had more INTs than TDs. Now though, he's just the guy that is an upgrade at what would've been Osweiler's job had he not taken the money and run. And I for one am glad he did.

You don't pay a guy $18 million a year to be average. I'm not saying Brock swindled the Texans as bad as Fitzpatrick did to the Jets but through 4 games Brock is proving exactly why Denver didn't try hard to keep him when the Texans put in a huge offer for him.

I thought when I opened this thread that it was a troll thread. I didn't watch the game yesterday but sounds like he played decently so I'll give him that but I would say he is far from being considered good. To me he looks like he did with the Broncos. When things are going well he does pretty good. He struggles when adversity hits though. He is not the guy to rally the troops. He is always waiting for somebody else to do that to save him and the team. It is why so many Bronco fans who some say maybe underestimated Osweiler's value were probably not wrong. He is an ok starter but not the type of QB you build your entire franchise around. It is why Elway wanted to have him on a 2-year deal to allow him to prove he was deserving of being recognized as a legit starter in this league instead of already declaring after 7 games this is the guy.

He didn't really have even a decent game yesterday. He finished 2 touchdowns and 2 picks and a passer rating of 74.8. On the season, he has more interceptions (6) than touchdowns (5).

He had an incredible 1st quarter! He was lights out and was just killing it!

Then he threw a second quarter INT.

And crashed back to reality hard.

That's Brock. Killed it the first half at Pittsburgh last year. Did absolutely nothing the second half.
