It seems like you'd be talking about the Lakers more than the Cavs then. Right now, there are 3 active threads focused on the Cavs -- none about the Lakers. (TT vs. Whiteside -- also includes heat)

Note this tread was started by a Laker fan.

You do realise there is a Lakers board, right?

I mean, i'd happily discuss Nick Young related issues with you guys on this board but for some reason I don't think a lot of people would have interest in that!

I do find it interesting that 75% of the posts are from Lakers & Heat fans. I think that says more about them than it does about Cavs fans.
talk about axes to grind....they despise gilbert and james- and cant believe their teams are what they are- while being subjected to watching an all time great with an owner IN CLEVELAND willing to spend more money than either of their owners- the world just turned on their heads for these guys- one coming off a lotto season- followed by their best player missing extended time and possibly having his career in jeopardy with blood clots- and theo the other striking out on free agents left and right forced to watch Kobe slog his way through his final season as one of the very worst teams in the league-

--- an owner with the biggest payroll in the league and an all-time great player in CLEVELAND?

they just cant fucking stand it.

Heat fans totally believe what this team is, and our owners spent enough to win 3 championships within a current decade.
Your owner only spends if James is there.
Never did before.
Never will after.
He was the single , biggest, advocate to try to penalize luxury tax teams, because he assumed he would never be in the group that had to pay.

Not totally true....

James is saddling the team with some hefty contracts. If he walks, Gilbert will still be spending.

I feel bad for Cleveland fans because they deserve better. Gilbert, on the other hand is a terrible owner and does not deserve to have a profitable team. He has lucked into every bit of success the franchise has seen under his purview.

3 times winning the lottery in 4 years, then the league's best player signs in free agency? Is there another owner in the league capable of messing that up?

LeBron James on a max contract is a bad contract. LeBron at max money when he is 37/38 is going to kill a franchise. Steph and those Warriors are slamming LeBron's title window closed much quicker than I ever expected when he left Miami. Thank you Warriors.

But coming to Miami is a desperate move. Wade over the hill, Bosh with health concerns. Don't get me wrong, we get LeBron, then Miami is going to the finals probably a few more times, but that only speaks to the weakness of the East. Put LeBron on Miami, we lose to the Warriors in the finals.

Not a bad contract because he will earn every penny of it in the first 3 years. LeBron is severely underpaid right now based on his impact.

I would think he would want it this way. Then he can sweep in and knock the little 12 year old out. I expect this postseason for him to have that look in his eyes. You Miami fans know what I mean:

I miss this LeBron... He went full berzerk against the Celtics in game 6 to avoid elimination.

say LeBron even wanted to go-- with Dragic and Bosh at such huge deals- I dont think there is anyway they could bring back Whiteside and bring in LeBron- i mean- obviously Wade would have to be gone

the cap is 90 million next year

Bosh is like at 24 million
Dragic is at like 16 million
McRoberts 6
Winslow 3

so that is 49 million right there....so 40 million....LeBron needs 25....Whiteside 22.....that doesnt even count the rest of the roster- and obviously means Dwade is gone.......

the fact that they signed Dragic handcuffs Miami in that- they can either bring back Whiteside, or get a different max free agent- but not both- especially if they have any intention of bringing back Wade.

IF James TRULY wanted to come back ( which I have at around .01%), then both he and Wade would make it work this summer.
As far as just Wade, he will not have a summer like last.
Word is he doesn't want to even hit FA, and that he gets X amount of millions from his shoe endorsements if he's still in the league when he's 35 and that he will consider that when dealing with the Heat.

And now you have Whiteside at 22M?
You're finally seeing/agreeing
how good he is?

Could you even imagine the original Heat Big 3 playing with Whiteside/Dragic?
That team would be better than any of James teams the last 6 years, easily..

According to Haynes, LeBron is intentionally trolling the media with his barrage of tweets lately. Suggested that the hashtag #TheDC stands for The Davinci Code... which LeBron referenced recently while telling Haynes that more "cryptic tweets" would be coming.

LeBron's latest:

Perhaps he should start his social media blackout a couple months early?
At least he's not an attention seeker :L

Yeah, I think agree.

I want to like it... to join in on laughing at all the media outlets and 'haters' for trying to decipher meaningless tweets. But in the end I think its just sort of immature and wasted energy.

Nothing to decipher in March.
Only thing that matters with James is what's inside his head at the end of June.

No doubt James will be highly motivated when the playoffs start.
I doubt Cavs can beat WC winner 4/7, but if James tries to do it alone, then for sure they lose.

And, as of today, Curry is what James was.
He's already wrapped up regular season MVP again.
If they win the title again, the discussion ends until James does something to reclaim it, which I don't see happening .

Well beating GS when they have homecourt 4/7 seems like an impossible task but the Cavs have the players. It all comes down to how Lue uses the lineups and the defensive effort. Well obviously we would talk about this more if they meet in the Finals, but it would be interesting on how they change the matchups this year compared to last year with Kyrie and Love injured.

He has always loved the spotlight, so this should be no surprise. The Warriors and Curry are getting all the attention. I would think Lebron would embrace that but any little thing Lebron does is going to be blown up as well, if another players did this we wouldn't hear about it. So you have to look at it that way too, but I do agree that he is an attention seeker, that is his personality.
