I might take the Indians position players over the White Sox. The defense for the White Sox is going to be hilariously bad while I think the Indians improved some with Lindor, Urshela, Chisenhall in RF, etc.
White Sox are about to sign Ian Desmond...

at SS in the AL before Correa and Lindor were up? YAH PRETTY MUCH lol.-- oh yah- and before Tulo came over.....and i forgot--- was Bogaerts up and starting at SS all year?
Honestly guy... Why not take my $500 bet about the Indians having three position players in the as?

The Royals offense is going to be worse than last year... but an injury to a guy like Perez could make them nose dive fast. They don't have a lot of room for error.
Well yeah, after the deadline there was 7 guys with WRC+'s over 130 at one point, and the other two were above the average relative to their positions. Still a strong group of position players all things considered.

In all seriousness though.. the Indians offense is going to be total shit... Seriously.. Napoli would have been a nice add about 5 years ago... Davis is a decent bench guy... The #5-#9 hitters are total turds.

I gotta give JD Martinez credit though- i thought he was a fluke after that 23 homer season.....his first season where he was decent at the age of 27......

he sure looks legit though.... nice 2 year 19M deal for him too...

i think it should be interesting to see what he does this year.

Maybe, but that White Sox team is full of maybes. Then again, this whole division is right now.
Agreed.. but to be honest.. You add a bat like that to the White Sox and they may be the best overall team in the division. They have pitching and a bullpen.. just need another bat or two.

They're going to need some of those prospects they have in the 2nd half to really contend for a WS- just a hunch. Playoffs may be attainable for them either way though.

its def close.....shit man....i WISH the Indians could have gotten Frazier..he would have been perfect....but the Reds asked for Salazar...then they asked for Cody Allen and Bradley (one of our recently named top 100 prospects) and then asked for Zimmer AND Frazier......indians werent gonna do any of those 3 deals....

I think just about everyone assumed he was a fluke and then he redoubles it just to mess with all of us; figured how to catch a ball too to boot.

They can't afford to add payroll because they only get 6 fans per game... Their fans are shameful. I bet this guy never appears back on this thread again after the first few weeks of the season. Indians fans are giving the Rays fans a run for least interested in showing up to games award.

The Reds are wacky. They didn't get into the mess they are now by being reasonable.

If you saw his minor league numbers you would understand why anyone that has a clue knew JD Martinez had the ability to be a stud.

I wonder how much that has to do with corporate rolling over since the 90's though in Cleveland. I am no economics savant so i can't answer that properly.

because tomorrow Brantley could have a set back and its over....and honestly? I kinda forgot Tulo was traded and really looked at the SS depth all of a sudden in the AL...shit man...Correa, Tulo, Lindor is freaking STACKED---- and thats without 2 solid guys like Escobar and Bogaerts--- and then after that you have 2 really good glove guys in Simmons and Iglesias.....ill admittedly back track on that being a SLAM DUNK for Lindor though I definitely think he will make it.-- i do think Iglesias is probably #6 or 7 SS in the AL..prob 6....

How the fuck do Cleveland fans sell out Browns games all the time when the Browns are the most disgusting pro sports team in all of the USA... and not attend Indians games when they are competitive?
