Why does it bother your fans so much that most people don't like Cam? He says he doesn't care, but he then accepts that his actions may turn people off and it will impact how they view him.

Manziel is actually a bigger jackass, but since he's also a loser he doesn't get nearly the feedback Newton does. Everyone coming out hating on Cam simply means they have arrived. Few spend any real time bashing losers. Accept it. Embrace it. Enjoy it while it lasts.

It's all part of the same thing man.

He is a jackass, at least that's how many/most see his antics. Some see it as him just having fun, but when you have fun at others expense a lot of people take that poorly. Just how it is.

Again, I don't think it's really the super man thing after TD's. Sure, some will cite that, but for me it's much more about actually taunting fans from the sideline when they are on the road or pointing to them after first downs and whatnot. That fucking stupid dab thing after every single first down. I'm far less bothered by it when they do it at home where they are playing up to their own fans. It's just juvenile BS on the road.

It has zero to do with his color. We have Russell Wilson and wouldn't trade him for anything. He respects the game and his opponents though. And as I've already said Johnny football is worse than Cam and if he's ever on a team that wins I'll be more on his ass online than Cam now.

People were hating on Sherman with his stupid shit and I was right there with them. There wouldn't have been 10% of the flack had he been playing for the Raiders or some other dumpster fire. Everything they do is viewed through a lens that gives a lot more scrutiny to the ones that both annoy people AND win.

Seriously, the day people stop picking on the Seahawks and/or their fans up here is the day we will know their run has long since ended. I'd much rather read everyone continue to try to tell us how not elite Wilson is.

And most probably understand that some people don't mind it. It's WWE with pads on. Entertain them any way you can. Even the heels in wrestling have fans.

I'm admittedly old and old school. I don't care for the TO's or Sherman's of the league, but those fringe guys have always been there barking away. I prefer my QB's to be students of the game and to respect the league and set the example. Didn't care for big Ben when he was younger and acting up like a fool, nor McMahon back in the day. But even the Owen's of the league didn't always celebrate after every damned play. Just move on. It's a 3y first down. Do you REALLY have to do some shtick for something that trivial?

People don't understand this. Unless you're blatantly taunting (getting in your opponent face or etc), I'm fine with celebrating. As I said before don't like it then stop them. Fortunately for those who dislike Cam, I think Denver does it on Sunday

He's a jackass and he seems to thrive on it.

Stop pretending that white jackasses don't get criticized for being jackasses. Only difference is that white folks don't get all bent out of shape when a white jackass (Manziel, Ryan Leaf, Peyton Manning etc) gets hammered for it.
