I'm not too sure. Carolina is still like your little brother. If they lose we'll give them some ribbing. Mainly Sham Newton. Denver gets trolled either way. They've been relevant over the last 5 years. Haters hate success. If Den losses Manning will be trolled as a chocker...
Just like NE they get trolled win or lose but I think it's greater when they win.

By the same usual suspects whose schticks have seriously jumped the shark.

You could be right. However, I see the Pat fans (myself included) with another bullet in the chamber if Peyton is too lose. Especially if he has a bad game. IMHO Peyton needs this SB to stay on the same level as Brady. Funny why do you rarely hear Montanna and Manning being compared?

Correct and that is why I mentioned arrogance as a main contributor to the trolling. Yet, the fan bases bring on the trolling in different ways.

He did, and he had nearly nothing to do with Denver winning. And on Sunday he will have nothing to do with Denver winning should they pull it off, but will have a lot to do with them losing should the Panthers pull it off.
