Which teams are the top 5 most storied after the Lakers and Celtics? Please feel free to make a case for each team in this thread. You don't have to vote for 5.

I voted for Bulls, Spurs, Warriors (surprise, surprise), Pistons, and Sixers.

My dilemma was choosing between Sixers and Knicks for my final vote. Both old school teams that haven't had much championship success in a long time, but in the end I chose Sixers because of Dr. J, the Fo, Fo, Fo team, and the great 1966-67 Wilt team that is still considered one of the greatest NBA teams of all time.

Same here. I went Sixers over Knicks. I think that finals win in the early 80's helps it and the fact they are in a much better place now than NY

Didn’t much like voting for Chicago.

Their history is MJ and that’s it. But in the end, MJ was enough.
A story of the NBA without MJ is fraudulent

TBF, Isiah and Laimbeer haven't let go either.

A franchise that has never won a Conference Final without one individual in the starting lineup is a tough sell for storied franchise.

MJ is enough, but Chicago is basically the Hawks without him.

I’m sorry but I’m going to have to abstain because my vote is that you can’t force this. It’s Boston and LA 1A and 1B and then there’s everybody else. Knicks and Sixers have the history but they haven’t closed enough on continued success. To place any of the existing choices up against the championships and finals appearances of those franchises is just disrespectful in my mind.

These teams are definitely not on the same level as the Celtics and Lakers, who are so special that they're not even in this poll. They are sitting as king and queen of the NBA. We're just trying to find out which other teams get to be part of their court.
