The Magic Midget is playing lights out right now. He has had some games like every QB does that are just off. Seattle's offense has changed. I wonder how much of it is Lynch being out and the coaches being willing to open it up and just let Wilson do what he does? The offense has gone from run, run, pass, to pass, pass, run, and both Wilson and Rawls are shining.

Seems like (at least right now) the Seahawks got him for a bargain compared to what he is currently doing on the field.

It's a combo of things that's made the O change a bit: 1) the defense hasn't been as consistently dominant as in years past and 2) improved play of the OL. It used to be if we put 20 on the board, it was a near sure win. Hasn't been the case as often this season, so the O has had to open up to score more. Hard to do that earlier in the season because the line was terrible. It's since improved greatly to now be "average" or so, and as a result the entire O has made a big leap.

It's just a bummer Graham went down. Would really like to see what he would do when we are throwing it 30 times a game and RW getting 2 or 3 seconds in a clean pocket to do it.

Not even close to meaning he is inaccurate. It means he doesn't trust his eyes with those quick timing routes and will quickly abandon even a good pocket to then see if he can make a play outside the pocket. I've seen guys wide open down the middle and he just won't pull the trigger and will run outside. Now his elite athleticism allows him to still make plays in those situations.

I agree with you here, but I wouldn't be so quick to attribute that to Wilson solely. Early on this year he was bailing quickly and taking taking a ton of sacks. Why? His Oline was absolutely atrocious. Lately, after Lewis was brought in as starting Center, the protection has been much much better, and subsequently Wilson is putting up monster games, which feature him standing in the pocket and delivering absolute rockets over the middle to Baldwin and Lockett. He was also hitting Graham in the middle flat often before Jimmy's injury.

The inability to throw over the middle from the pocket wasn't merely a fault of Wilson's. It was because he didn't have even minimal protection nor trust of his offensive line. Once he found that he's been thriving in the pocket and over the middle.

i have a feeling seattle will regret this deal in a few years.

and i like wilson.

Seattle fans like him too. Can we address those negatives again? I believe one of them was that he was not a pocket passer. I believe RW had 5 TD passes from the pocket today. Not a single tipped pass.

Achieves ANOTHER NFL standard by becoming ONLY the 3rd NFL player EVER to pass for 16 TD's and 0 Int's in a 4 game span. (Manning and Brady). All this w/out Graham and Lynch.

Regular seaon TD/Int ratio 98:33 (that's almost 3:1 for you math nerds). That is 2nd All-Time in NFL History to Aaron Rodgers, with an impressive 4:1 ratio.

Probably won't even make the pro-bowl though, and that's ok.
Palmer and Rodgers and Newton are all having great years. One+ will decline and RW will go as a replacement.

Here is to hoping RW plays at least a few more good years.:suds:

Don't forget strength of schedule and run game has drastically improved. How has the O-line improved so much?

Wilson definitely proved he's worth his paycheck at least in the second half of the season. He's probably been the best overall QB in the second half so far.

The OL has improved to a level of being an actually good OL. And Russ has shown what that produces.

Granted, they don't play a legit DL again until week 17 and that will likely mean very little for the Cardinals and possibly Seattle as well.

I counted one bad pass from Wilson today. Some of them in really right spaces.

The Hawks wayyy overpaid for Wilson, we all know that without Lynch he is nothing.
Tom Cable is a moron and should be fired.
Bevell can't call the right play to save his life.
Kam's holdout ruined the defense.

Gotta love it, Go Hawks!

LOL funniest thing I heard today. Damn I didn't know a QB could be crap with a winning playoff record and a super bowl appearance and 2 NFC championship games. LOL

Haters will hate.

that's like me saying Wilson is crap. Some of these Seattle fans are just bad. They love to hate and be homers.

So, tell us more about how good Kaep is.

Wow guy. I didn't expect THAT response.
You realize that RW is the ONLY NFL QB to have 4 straight games of a QB Rating of 138.5 or better.
That's not a group of a few greats. That is a list of 1. RW is the ONLY one.

Now dismiss the rating all you want, but he carried ............oh, never mind.

Funny stuff. Go Hawks.

More comedy gold! Thank you guy.

Wilson looks bad? Really?

Way to stick to your guns, regardless of how foolish it makes you look.
LOL im 100% right. did you check your record. LOL hey I know my team sucks but its great to see blind homers thinking their team is great. Keep living in fantasy land.

He plays 1-2 good games and he is great again. LOL

If you think Wilson is worth the 22 mill with the season he is having and the record you have is just insane. im never said Wilson sucks he just isn't a top QB to be making that much. He cant carry a team. He needs a very good run game and a Top D to win.

Funny the majority of these quotes were coming from Hawk fans a month ago.
