Fucking rookie.

1 class at a time. haven't passed avatar class yet.

waterboy class is up next.

then sizing class... I'll pass that with flying colors. it's the waterboy class I'm worried about.

then I'll enroll into the pre-rookie class first to get acquainted with

I at least want a shot at Jaylon Smith of ND

:dingdingding:

how upset would you be if you missed Jaylon Smith and it became Reggie Ragland. Ragland isn't quite former Bammer ILB CJ Mosley but it's real close. really close.

20th pick would suuuuuuuuuck. I at least want a shot at Jaylon Smith of ND

I doubt you have to worry about the 20th pick, but it's good to see Austin get something out of what he was left with, and the offense improving slightly under Cooter. Caldwell is good at saving timeouts.

I read some insane stat that said the Lions had 5 passes of 20 yards or more last week after having only 3 all year previous to the Raider game. Sounds impossible? Maybe I dreamt it?

I don't follow stats, but I wouldn't doubt it. Lombardi was as useless as they come.

Remember when Mayhew tried to pay Avril 10 million a year for 3 years and thank God, Cliff turned it down?

Best thing about Avril was that he turned down the biggest contract he would ever be offered.

Had Cliff accepted Mayhew's offer, Ziggy would be a Ram right now, Tavon Austin would be on IR for the Lions, and Avril would be knee deep into year 2 of his new 100 million dollar contract Mayhew signed him to.

Yep ! He was part of a SB winning team. He can flash that bling forever and be proud of that. money is great but in sports, championships still do matter

Real upset. Jaylon Smith reminds me a lot of Sean Weatherspoon before all the injuries. Fast as hell, wraps up and delivers a pop when he tackles. Perfect LB to cover tight ends, stop the run and throw in some sacks just for fun. A true tone setter.

Ragland reminds me of Tulloch which isn't really a bad thing. Good tackler and solid linebacker overall. Smith is on a whole other level though.

WHOA Now .....
Ragland is exceptional in CFB coverage compared to Tully's NFL.

Smith uses his speed. He gets burned from time to time just like Ragland but Jaylon with all his speed will over or under pursue due to bad read and diagnosis at times. He needs to get better at that. Jaylon reminds me of a bigger tOSU LB Ryan Shazier.

let me finish for my take.

another Elite athletic player who'll be at the top of many combine numbers, most likely, and will vault into the top 12, if not more, all the while those Detroit Kitty Kat's are screwing the pooch by winning and miss out on him.

BTW, I really like J. Smith but remember many players with all those traits fail in the NFL without proper coaching.
would love to have the kid.

nice comparison to Witherspoon :thumb:
