but.....I like watching football on Thursday nights...
Petersen is most certainly starting to get his grip on things. Not good for the rest of us.
I thought Vegas predicting a 4 win Washington team was far too low.
Good game by UW getting a huge road win.
But prepare yourselves for next week.
I guess you avi being upside down is equivalent to the flag being upside down....you are in distress, huh Corp?
There still aren't very many wins left in UW's schedule.Petersen is most certainly starting to get his grip on things. Not good for the rest of us.

Goddamn, between you and WizardHawk, we have some real downers...There still aren't very many wins left in UW's schedule.
I'm still all giddy. This is gonna be a long ass day... at least I have the SportsHoopla to distract me...
And good choice @trojanfan12.
Goddamn, between you and WizardHawk, we have some real downers...
It's just the nature of the Pac, every game is a big game, any team can beat any team at any time.Goddamn, between you and WizardHawk, we have some real downers...
VA's last trip to Seattle isn't relevant here in any way. It might have only been two years ago, but entirely different staff and almost no one left on that defense. The front 7 was the highlight back then while the strength now is their secondary and LB corp. I'm honestly nowhere near as worried about Adams as I'll be about Freeman considering USC was able to gash UW's interior for huge chunks of yards all night last night.I am thinking that Vernon Adams doesn't play against the Cougs and then makes his return against the Fuskies. The last time VA faced U-Dub, he almost pulled off the upset. The key will be getting past WSU, which will be no small task with the Lockie/Alie merry-go-round. But you are right, the key will be heavy doses of Royce Freeman topped off by a bit of Taj Griffin. The Front 7 also needs to step up in applying pressure to the QB (against the Cougs) and (against the Fuskies) stopping the run. I'm sure that Mike Leach is licking his chops in the anticipation of getting at the Ducks young secondary. I think the game will be close.
And by the way, great win Fuskies. That D is nasty once again!
That's a good stat to win. I love defense. I'll take great D with an average offense any day. Just have to get this offense up to average. It'll happen, and it's happening.Reading over the game stats DM and one glaring stat stood out, other than the USC turnovers...3rd down efficiency was dominated by your Huskies.
USC 1-13
Huskies 6-17
The Dawg D was very active on that down last night. Congratz, they played a 60 min game as usual.
In what way am I a downer? lolGoddamn, between you and WizardHawk, we have some real downers...
That's key. Can you imagine where this offense would be if they still had Ross healthy for this year? What if they still had stringfellow? The offense is going to be a work in progress all year, but they are doing well considering what they have to work with. I just know there will be games they throw away with this youth and times where it comes together and pull out wins. It's going to be a roller coaster the rest of the season on that unit. Thank God the D is proving to be as stout as it is.That's a good stat to win. I love defense. I'll take great D with an average offense any day. Just have to get this offense up to average. In what way am I a downer? lol
I've been saying all along that UW would have some upsets during this October where EVERYONE was predicting we go 0-4 and I don't think we are done yet. I can easily see 2-2. I'm jacked as can be for the Oregon game next week. How the hell am I being a downer?
They were soooo close to blowing the top on SC's D how many times? At least 6 deep balls were damn close. Fuck Stringfellow, Lenius can playThat's key. Think I'm just referring to some of your naysaying last night. Nothing wrong with some cautious optimism. And I don't really think you're a downer. In what way am I a downer? lol

yes because mine was a joke at the expense of 7 Sark and how he went on a run of 7 wins for like 3 years and even though he has won more than that in a season the nickname sticks. along with 7 and 7 sark and other variations. Was it any different than yours?
