There's Preston Smith and I found Thompson -- he is behind Matt Jones. :dhd:

my game ball goes to Coach Callahan ... his impact cant be forgotten with all this success rushing ... especially considering the talent of the D-line we ran against

short week coming up with the Giant on Thursday ...

Can we split the ball and give half to the D. That is back to back excellent games for them.

I was pretty much going to post the same comment.

Not sure how you go about trying to build an elite defense and then forget to have any run stuffers on the dline or any #1 Cornerbacks or go about building the offensive line with 4 rookies.

Imo its playoffs or Unemployment Line for Jeff Fisher.

Defense played lights out for sure, but Fischer is a defensive minded coach, & thats where he has stockpiled his talent ... not to mention their RB was injured ... so, all things being equal ... i'd still give the blocking the edge over the defense.

Regardless of the results moving forward this has to make fans feel good about the future. The thought of this team after 2-3 more SM drafts is just scary (in a good way). He has already helped add effective coaches on both sides of the ball, solid additions on both lines, some secondary help, a solid pass rushing LB, a great RB & what appears to be a solid, strong kicker among other things. Assuming relative health there is no reason to not believe that they will be consistent contenders in the relatively near future.
