Packers are the better team. Heavily-favored. Bears still had a legitimate chance at the end, despite Jay's pick. (which was pretty bad....stared it right to him)

Jay's 3rd down percentage was out of sight. Aside from the pick, there was no shame in what he brought to the table today.

Saying he played terrible is bordering on retarded.

No..... What is retarded is Bear fans still thinking he can be a decent starter here.
Its funny that all other teams fans and commentators know better, but our own fans do not see it.
I wonder if Fox will get the blame for his incompetence at years end.(it seems like its always someone else fault but his).

Jay will be benched again sometime this year...... .

Good game guys. I believe you have a real coaching staff now, they'll put the Bears in positions to win games. Good luck until we meet again

Maybe, but today he played fine, for the most part.

The two commentators calling the game sure seemed to think he played ok, save for the one bad decision?:noidea:

Was he the greatest QB in the history of the game out there today? Obviously not, but he wasn't terrible either.

Was a good game to watch and had Forte on my fantasy team and also added James Jones so was a good day and the Bears look better for sure.

tough to say anything about his decision-making until I can see the All-22, but his accuracy left a lot to be desired. All in all, another season of Cutler. Harsh reality.

He played well?.... He did?

I thought he terrible myself.
What pass did he miss on? The one that missed Alston around the feet? The into to Matthews? The missed pass to Royal in the endzone?
18 of 36 is good?

Yeah, its the coaches fault again. Or whoever you wanna blame.

And to tell you the truth, you're right,GB is better...... But so is 3/4s of the NFL.
The pass to Royal in the endzone? Really-you're going with that one? That had nothing to do with the blitzing LB all over him? hmm?
When did I say it was the coaches fault? What are you talking about- I didn't blame anyone- I praised the Packers for playing well, with some amazing catches while well covered.
You can go on for the rest of the season being pissed off and piss all over the Bears... but I said it last year, and I'll say it again- THE Bears winning or losing doesn't really effect me. I like it when they win and it's more fun to win, but I still have to work in the morning.

The only way I would be as pissed off as you is if I got bonus $ or BJ's by US Soccer star Kelley O'Hara, if they won... sadly I don't.

Who leads the NFL in Interceptions? Luck, Bortles, Cousins, Winston, Flacco- each have 2.
Manziel has 3 turnovers! NONE OF THEM ARE NAMED Cutler!
How about those that also threw pick 6s? Manning, Flacco, Winston... <not named Cutler too.

The team didn't win a game against the NFC favorite. The Bears looked better than they have in a long time. I'm kinda excited to see where Fox and Company can take them. That is all.

Oh I'm sure you'll find something wrong with his decision making. I have faith in you Cali.
The eye-test tells me, he played decent. His teammates...those that voted him captain... all said he played well too. Lots of football left. Tough first few weeks. Bears season becomes a thing in the final 9 games- if they can stay together, keep playing hard and build off of today.

Oh... look... more Cutler fights. What a shocker.

Wood, AI... Fuck off. Acting as though Cutler was somehow to blame for today is ludicrous.

Joey... Cutler was far from good today, and missed A LOT of throws. Threw a couple into the ground, missed a back shoulder throw down the sideline (to Royal?) Badly. Although, Forte was hit in the hands with that deep ball, which was a touchdown if he just holds on.

All in all, just a meh game. He made some good throws, and made some bad ones. He tried to force a ball late, and it was picked. I mean, you're so short sighted if you really pin a whole loss on him for that. He was fine. For whatever reason, he really isn't what he was in 10 and 11. Just looks like he hears ghosts in the pocket. For whatever reason.

But again... so expected to log on here and see Wood and AI spouting their usual shit. Cutler was not great, but fuck off... it was a fine performance from this team today. There's shit to clean up, but what did you expect? I was absolutely elated at halftime when we were leading.

Especially the Royal throw on 4th down... seriously? He had multiple worse throws. It was a jailbreak blitz... Royal couldn't even finish his route and was covered quite well. Jay had to throw way off balance with multiple defenders in his face.

I agree with your view on Cutler. Take this game for example. He played pretty well for the Bears and kept us in it, but his pick also came at a pretty vital time. He wasn't the reason we lost, but he also wasn't able to match scoring drives with Rodgers. Obviously that's a tall drink of water, but I also think he will continue to throw those picks at vital times because that's just who Cutler is. He might have some nice comeback wins here and there, but not enough to make up for the games he gives away with his turnovers.

It's funny that nobody is complaining how the Bears D only forced 2 punts, and gave up 31 points.

EVEN though the offense had a time of possession and they should have been well rested. (cause you know... the defense get's tired)
They looked better then the last two years- for sure... and it's nice to see a professional DC making calls. But they still continued to give up TD's instead of forcing FG's.

If the offense can be checked for ONLY scoring FG's...then the D should also be checked for not forcing them to kick FG's giving up TD's.

I'm wondering what happens when they play anyone other then Rodgers? We'll find out. They will get better as the year goes.

Cutler played well for 3 quarters because it seemed the game plan was to stay high percentage and run the ball. When it came time to have him do something is when the pick happened and it was game over. You can hide him for only so long

Aside from the interception, I think Cutler played ok. If anything this game showed us 1) the Bears can run the ball and 2) the Bears need to work on pass blocking. I think the defense has a way to go but these guys will only get better.

I can't believe I'm going to say this but I'm optimistic.

I have no real opinion on Culter as of right now. I haven't seen what choices he had. I''m always a little mystified by how people draw such hard conclusions about QB play when they don't even know what the field looked like.

The only thing I can draw conclusions about is this: the defensive line was awful. Useless. They need to play better.

I was pissed when they lost. But then I got up and went and mowed the lawn.

Anybody complaining about today's play, has a very short memory.
