Losing by 8 and having a much better showing than the past 2 years is a step in the right direction. Jay played well with the exception of one pass. Cue the "It's all Jay's fault" columnist and posters. The Packers are simply a better team with an all world QB. They had some amazing catches: Lacy's one handed catch by Rodgers flip... Jones TD catch with perfect coverage.
We also all knew these first few weeks would be really tough. 2-4 through first 6 games...than get better second half of the season. Long way to go. Go Bears!

I was actually satisfied with the play calling on both sides of the ball. And we all are calling for the Gase's head for not running it in the red zone, but if I remember correctly, Forte is pretty terrible near the goal line.

6 carries for Forte in the second half sure seems like same old bears, Cutler missed Marshall, 18-36 while BMarsh averages 10.3 on 6 catches. Long, well, first game getting Peppers and Matthews, tough.
