Tony has put up some solid numbers as a starting QB despite playing for some very average Cowboys teams. He had a great year last season with a good Cowboys team.

Romo has done an adequate job at getting great passing stats AND also getting them very close to winning a few playoff games. (oh, I apologize, he won a few, what is his playoff record?)

brees is a pocket passer

do you understand yet?

god its like theres a gas leak where some people are positng.
Just because Wilson is superior at making plays outside of the pocket does not mean that he can't make them inside the pocket. I fact, his stats within the pocket are very impressive so far in his career.

He did an outstanding job considering that those Cowboys teams were average at best. Last year he was on a very good team and helped beat the Seahags in their crib.

Wilson is fortunate that he can hand off to Lynch and can rely on the Seattle defense to keep the other team out of the end zone.

Like telling people to fvck off on a message board.

Holy hel, I almost forgot to get that off my to do list.

Fuck off, Calgary.

Much better. (All kidding aside, I do find it funny that with every post he reinforces the point that got him so pissy.)

anyone on my payton/taylor comparison?

you know...the "first 3 years" thing?

i will expect it to be ignored going forward.
It means that Taylor didn't sustain his initial level of success, whereas Walter Payton far exceeded his. But we know this because .... it actually played out. You can conjecture that Russell Wilson can't/won't whatever, but you can't really know that yet, because .... it hasn't played out.

He is fortunate to have them. Just like they are fortunate to have him to take pressure off of them.

I'd say come back to KFFL, but it's down at the moment. :)

He sure didn't come through in the clutch against the Patriots.

sigh

more of this?

if hes a runner, you play defense as such, and DB's need more "honesty" as such.

of course its going to allow for inflated pocket numbers.

ive already debunked this stuff in prior threads.

so far youve compared wilson to brees, and brady to wilson...both frankly, terrible comparisons to make.

and still my payton/taylor numbers go ignored.
Making excuses for Wilson's accomplishments. For you to 'debunk' anything, you actually have to be able to empirically demonstrate just how much difference his (and the Seahawks) running makes for his passing. Minus an honest and real empirical index of some kind, you're just offering opinion presented as if it were something more.

I think he did.
He brought the Hawks back.
I give credit to Butler making one hell of a play.
The same Butler who fucked up on the pass to Kearse.

RW is the man. Top 5 QB no Doubt. Better than Romo no Doubt.

Lynch is fortunate that Wilson can stress defenses both as a passer and a runner. It's helped Lynch have a better career than in all likelihood he would otherwise have had.

Lynch helps Wilson more than Wilson helps Lynch.

Don't you think that helped Romo last season having Murray to hand off. When a team stacks eight in a box against an AP, Murray or Lynch, it opens it up for the decent QB. But with Wilson, the D , as Willie Mc Ginnest said today on NFL Network, you couldn't just game plan for Beastmode, because Wilson could burn you for a 20- 30 yard run

Romo is a much better QB in my opinion.

And THAT is exactly why......
a) Dallas has won so many more playoff games than Seattle?
b) Dallas has a better chance at success than Seattle this year?

Seattle won those playoff games on the strength of their defense and I believe the Cowboys will have a more successful season than Seattle this year.

Do you giggle inside and tickle your vagina every time you post Seahags?

I don't put any blame on Romo because he is a really good QB and had a top 3 season last year, but Dallas needs a real HC and Jones needs to keep his nose picking head in the owner's suite and let the coaches do their thing
