I totally agree. After looking at the offense and upgrade in QB from last year they definitely win the AFCN. Hands down.

Now if Cleveland could only get Flacco in trade from the ravens, they'd have a slightly above average QB

You're right, his inability to read defences and make the right throw as well as the elite qb's is what keeps him from being considered elite.

The bottom line: Brady prefers throws towards the middle and the left side of the field, but does not target the short area of the field more than most NFL passers. That Brady does not look to the right when most NFL passers prefer the right is worth mentioning, but his frequency to target the middle of the field should not be held against him.

He likes to throw to what he has, and what he has is middle of the field receivers, which is the point being made in the argument. Where he excels is his ability to read the field better than most QB's, which is key if you're going to make your bread and butter over the middle.

Also notice on the pass spread chart the NFL throws it over 60% in short range. So he does pretty much what most do.

Well the average includes a bunch of lame QBs and that's a fact. I'd like to see a chart showing Aaron Rogers, Luck and Wilson passes for depth. I'm pretty dang sure theirs would be different.

My bad 10 yds... Impossible to find anyone in the NFL that can throw even 10-15 yds. So yes I agree Jimmy G and TB are rare commodities. Matt Cassel proved that.

I like that Romo isn't on this chart. It shows he can and does spread the ball around.
