They lost once at home in the playoffs.

Still a staggering 46-3 overall in their 49 games played at oracle

Yeah, I dont know why it said 2 losses on there. That being said, no team in invinsible.

Last years Spurs team is IMO one of the best teams I have ever see play, they were so in sync.

Whenever I come on to the NBA threads, I'm always surprised how much hate the Cavs draw. Most of it seems to come from Heat fans.

From an outside perspective, it reads like a bunch of jilted lovers.

Who hate the Cavs? I have just stated the obvious which is I don't understand why Cavs fans is surprised that everyone outside of Cavs fans are picking the Warriors. It has nothing to with hate. It is called watching basketball and knowing a great team when you see one.

I missed 2 words. Meant to say just about. The only posters I remember picking ATL were Trojan and either Hambombs or Horns.

You could have said "Everyone picked Cleveland over Atlanta except for those that didn't."

Again, from an outside perspective, your posts reek of Cavs/Lebron hatred and it has nothing to do with who you've picked to win the series.

I can't help but be reminded of the 2012 Thunder with these Warriors. Historically great regular season... top-10 in offensive and defensive efficiency... young budding MVP caliber superstar... young and somewhat inexperienced but very talented with promising future... heavily favored in the Finals by the oddsmakers.

Of course, this Cavs team is very different from that Heat team. I think this is going to be a great series.

I don't mind the Cavs. I respect Lebron as a player and have defending him quite a few times actually ( just yesterday I was defending him as a clutch player) but I rather not see him win a title again. Don't hate him at all

There is no comparison between the 2 teams IMO. GSW supporting cast is much better than OKC. OKC basically had 4 players and a bunch of bums.

Also GSW is a much better defensive team than that OKC team. That OKC team finished 9th while GSW would have finished 5th that year. Also OKC offense isn't as good as this Warriors team either.

GSW is actually the much better team....more complete

Yes, championship or bust for GS. They are 72% favorites to win it, all the pressure is on them. If they dont win it will be a huge upset.

It would be a wasted opportunity and upset for G.S.,for sure, but far less of a bust IMO, then James flaming out again.

James is the one who has made a career out of trying his best to cherry pick teams/ titles in a way no other superstar ever has.

The Warriors stars are still very young and if the owner is willing to spend, they have the foundation to be very good for a long time.

James, while still a monster, is on the decline and isn't getting any younger.

I have a feeling that once some team gets by him in the East (which IMO isn't far away), that it will be the end of him as it was for the Celts, Pistons, etc.. when their runs ended.

Five straight finals is an amazing, long run.

The wear and tear will catch up to him.

GSW aren't winning a title for another 40 years if they don't win this year.

Everything broke right for them....only way this could have broken better for them is if ATL defeated Cleveland

What broke right for them that can't be repeated?
Their young players are getting better.
You don't think they resign their FA's?

One might say that having the Clippers/Spurs in round 1 made the path easier, but I don't necessarily agree.
Memphis is a damn good team. The Rockets are a damn good team.
They faced some adversity with Memphis, but regrouped as you would expect a potential championship roster to do.

That series reminded me of the Heat/Pacers a couple years back when Bosh got hurt.
We know how that season ended.

I think it will be a good series.
I think it will be series of close games.
Warriors eventually win though.
Its karma. Its destiny.

2 biggest challengers in the west being eliminated before getting to them and Love being out for Cleveland

Curry couldnt shoot better than he did in the Houston series and Cleveland IMO can play better perimeter defense than that team. They have more athletic perimeter guys, sometimes that was pathetic watching Houston but they had so much potential just threw some of those games away. I know Cleveland can play with GS but Lebron has to continue to attack and find the open guys like always. Attack, Attack, Attack and if he finds his jumpshot it will only help his game. Hopefully Kyrie is healthy bc he is the key, he is unstoppable when healthy, Curry cant guard him whatsoever.

Hopefully the Cavs play like they have been or even better.

Currys been shooting the ball like crazy the last 3 months though

Except Steve Kerr >>> Scott Brooks. OKC relied on too much iso and didn't move the ball like GSW do now.

This years Spurs weren't last years Spurs. Seasons don't carry over. They were vulnerable.
Them losing 2 home games to the Clippers proved that.

The Clippers have no bench, Griffin is usually nowhere to be found late in games. There C can't make Ft's.
They are flawed.

One could easily make a case that Memphis and or Houston was better then either.

Cavs play better without Love.
Their D improves.
Their 3 pt shooting has been as good or better.
They lose a rotation player, but in the playoffs, the rotations shrink anyway.
I doubt the Cavs even WANT him back.

While GS had a great season they are not the great teams we are used to seeing. Veteran teams that have been there. It will be interesting how much that takes a part in the outcome.
