How many straight Finals are you guessing he makes?

As far as Kyrie. Yes, nice scorer, but ONCE AGAIN injured.
I think thats just going to be his M.O.
Never did shit without James.
It's no coincidence.

As far as the 'younger' Cavs...please.
The only one that MATTERS is James.
Without him that roster is questionable to even make the playoffs.

As I've said, and nobody disagrees with, put him on any other top 8-9 roster in the East and they are where the Cavs are today.
So... it sounds... like... you're completely agreeing with shaneman:noidea:

It depends who is guarding them I guess. Cleveland can definitely score, and we have more guys capable of scoring the ball at a high rate than GS (for example, Iggy is the 5th leading scorer for GS in the playoffs; he'd be 7th on the Cavs, and 8th if you include Love).

What does where they line up as scorers have to do with them beating the Cavs? Here's some food for thought. The Warriors play in the more competitive conference, yet they were the #1 see across the ENTIRE league. The Cavs weren't even the #1 seed in their conference. I think that says it all when you want to compare the two. And it doesn't matter who the defender is...they can't stop Curry's shot. Not Mozgov, not LBJ & not Thompson. Cancel Xmas on that my friend. Cleveland isn't the same team they were in the reg season when they faced the Warriors...and the Warriors are still playing the same 10 man rotation with a couple of extras as needed. Did you see the stats for the series? The Warriors crashed those boards and did so by double digits in every game they won. And, did it against a team that has the so-called 'best center' in the league. Warriors in 6!

GS has real pressure. The pressure you say James has is the perspective from the fans, the last thing he is worried about.
LOL he is worried about it. We all know LBJ is very much about him.

This is GS 1s time being there and Kerr's 1st time coaching. Pressure isn't as big as u think. There is pressure on both tams.

The Warriors should pray that the Cavs try to use Lebron to cover Curry or Thompson. The more they use that tactic, the better for the Warriors.
Plus if LBJ covered either one he would get burnt out. He isn't that type of Defender anymore. He gets tired quicker now a days.

There is pressure on everyone in the finals. There is no guarantee that you make it again. Just ask the 2012 OKC Thunder

All I know is that the winner of this series will have earned it.

Watching the Warriors in the playoffs, I don't feel like there has been one game where I thought they were playing their absolute best. I'm sure that is a culmination of the intensity of the playoffs, better opponents and maybe even some fatigue, but I haven't been wowed like I was earlier in the year.

The Cavs from what I've seen have hit their peak just at the right time. They have the best player in the NBA and all the Cavs role players have stepped it up and are contributing in big ways.

The Warriors will need to bring their A game. Nothing will be given to them.

Exactly...LBJ won't be able to keep up on the defensive end and still carry his team on the offensive side.

You're lucky if your team play 1 A game in the playoffs. It is very rare....Hard to imagine them playing a better game than they did Saturday Night

Who said Mozgov or TT would be guarding Curry? LBJ would have no problem guarding Curry. He's just as fast and he's way bigger and he's also more experienced. However, he won't be guarding him. Shumpert will be the best guy to guard him in the playoffs except for maybe Conley, and that was by far the lowest scoring series of the playoffs for Curry.

The only difference between this Cleveland team and the one that beat up GS is Love isn't in, and with the way TT has played since Love got hurt, it hasn't been a big loss. Love averaged 7 RPG vs. Boston's anemic frontcourt; TT has averaged 11.1 vs. big men like Noah/Gasol and Horford/Millsap, all while only averaging about 2-3 ppg less than Love. He's the reason people in Cleveland aren't shaken up about the possibility of Love not re-signing with the team.

Finally, spouting off anything about the regular season means nothing; it's the postseason. Boston split the season series with Cleveland and then Cleveland swept them. Atlanta took 3/4 from Cleveland in the regular season and then Cleveland swept them. How much does that matter?

Plenty of stuff to analyze on both sides.

The Warriors are not a perfect team. A. They are a jump shooting team B. They have one guy over 6'8" that gets minutes and hes not a threat to go for 20 C. They are in uncharted waters experience wise

The Cavs just got finished with Atlanta who does a TON of screening- they beat it in large part because the Cavs have the versatility to switch on most pick and rolls/pops. There guys really do not have to fight around screens- they simply switch-

Think about it- LeBron can switch in any pick and roll, Thompson is brilliant for a big man switching on a pick and roll, Shumpert switches on the pick and roll well with his size and defensive ability, JR can switch on the pick and roll with his size, Delly is tough enough to switch MOST pick and rolls. Anyone that watched the Cavs has seen it- they can get out to those shooters because they switch everything. A team like Golden State without a true big man to make them pay on all those switches is helpful as well.

Now Golden State obviously is the favorite- The Cavs roster has been turned upside down injury wise while Golden State has been the sole playoff team to remain pretty much 100% intact.

Golden State is NOT going to miss open 3's. Golden State is not going to go through scoring droughts- and the Cavs are prone to scoring droughts here or there without Irving and Love. If Irving gets healthy, can play some D and get to the rim- the CAvs will have a solid chance to pull it out.

Golden State also has multiple players to throw at LeBron- Iggy, Green, Barnes- can all be thrown at him- it wont just be one guys job (it cant be)- and Golden State is well positioned to try and slow him down.

Shumpert is going to be on Curry a lot- and itll be the best matchup Curry has had besides Tony Allen- and Allen played him about as good as one could expect.---the Cavs can throw Shumpert, Delly and LeBron at Curry though- they have multiple guys that can do some things against him which is a positive

The Cavs frontcourt is definitely more physical, tougher, and better at boarding and shot blocking. I can definitely see Thompson and Draymond Green mixing it up....

IF I am the Cavs I try and make the Warriors beat you inside. Bogut cant beat you. Klay Thompson is WAY more dangerous shooting than off the dribble. Curry is a wizard getting to the rim but just make sure he pays for it.

While I have to concede that the Warriors would likely be small favorites if the Cavs were 100% healthy- the Cavs are no where close to healthy and it makes sense the Warriors are almost 3-1 favorites. ----

There are certain aspects of the game where the Cavs have a slight edge though. They without a doubt have a chance if the role players continue to step up and Kyrie gets close to 100%.

Tony allen ?? He's the best defender warriors have faced in the playoffs. Also nobody can stop curry it has to be as a team

you want to know something about the 2012 Thunder?

They did not have LeBron James.

I'll personally book the Cavs in AT LEAST 2 of the next 4 Finals- and probably more than that. They have LeBron and they play in the East and Kyrie is there for the next 5 years. End of Conversation.

Shumpert did make Curry his b**** earlier this year too ;)

just saying!

I dont think Shumpert scored a single point in that game but he played freaking great. If he can do that same thing again for a couple games that will help big time. Its a huge advantage to be able to tell Shumpert that your ONLY job is to make life difficult for this guy.

But they're 2nd in points in the paint.. Also why does it matter if someone is 6 foot 8 lol?

Lol yeah right

Curry 5/17 for 18 points 3/9 from 3pt land 4 turnovers

sorry- its true, lol. SHUMP!!

thats the game LeBron went for 42 points and no one on Golden State could hold his jock. LEBron has made a career out of embarrassing Andre Iguadala. Green was on Love all game though- so itll be interesting to see where he is without Love out there.
