Knew it was coming.
Nothing past this opportunity is guaranteed. Ask Thunder fans.
Same rhetoric, after the fact.

It's championship or bust/heartbreak once again.
Spin it any way you want.

I agree, they will have to double him. Problem Cavs have nobody that can cover Curry and Thompson. U are forgetting about Barnes. And wasn't green an allstar this year(or a reserve). Also by having iman in u have JR smith out and that hurts Cavs offense with spreading the Floor. GS is a match up nightmare for you guys. I agree GS will struggle with LBJ but LBJ doesn't take over games like he use to. he does it 1-2 times a series now. Double team LBJ and force him into a jump shooter. Also I like Kerr as HC a lot more then Blatt and GS also has home court advantage and GS was the best home team this year.

Lebron and Shump are way better matchups for Curry and Thompson than anyone on GS is for Lebron. If Shump is on the floor, it likely means either Irving or Smith is on the floor (or both if we're playing small ball), so there are two major 3 pt. threats. If Kyrie is healthy, GS is going to be in major trouble trying to slow down Cleveland's offense. We don't even need Mozgov to play much. TT can handle Bogut, and Lebron can play the 4 on whatever bum PF the Warriors put out there (David Lee? Festus? Speights? lol)

Are you serious?

Shumpert can guard one of those guys and do a pretty good job, I have no doubt about that. Then whichever one he guards Smith, a decent defender or James can guard the other one. The goal should be to push them off the 3-pt line and let them drive they arent as effective inside.

Yes, championship or bust for GS. They are 72% favorites to win it, all the pressure is on them. If they dont win it will be a huge upset.

Curry couldnt shoot better than he did in the Houston series and Cleveland IMO can play better perimeter defense than that team. They have more athletic perimeter guys, sometimes that was pathetic watching Houston but they had so much potential just threw some of those games away. I know Cleveland can play with GS but Lebron has to continue to attack and find the open guys like always. Attack, Attack, Attack and if he finds his jumpshot it will only help his game. Hopefully Kyrie is healthy bc he is the key, he is unstoppable when healthy, Curry cant guard him whatsoever.

Hopefully the Cavs play like they have been or even better.

Pressure on both. Another loss for LBJ and it wont look good Legacy will be some what over as trying to reach that top tier. GS has pressure because they are the Fav but this is their 1st time going to the big dance. LBJ and some cavs have the experience. Pressure on both teams.

Lets also not pretend like Curry is a defensive force. He hasnt had to guard anybody near kyrie irvings skill level at the pg position. Even a 80% kyrie will be able to average 20 on curry. The warriors are about to get exposed, especially if they play as poorly as they did against the garbage rockets 4/5 of the games.

Game 1 in the regular season GS won 112-94 @GS Irving was 9-23 from the Floor
Game 2 in regular season Cavs won 110-99 @ home: LBJ went off for 42pts, Irivng so so game

So overall GS can contain Irving but stopping LBJ looks like a problem.

Based on what?

What matchups doesn't favor the dubs? They have several defenders who they can throw at Kyrie and Lebron. They won't miss open 3's as the Hawks did. They won't get dominated inside as ATL did because they have quite a few bodies of their own in Bogut, Festus, & possibly Speights if he returns.

Not saying Cleveland can't win but you're delusional if you don't think the matchups favor the Warriors and that they're clearly the favorites in this series.

Explain. Can Draymond keep up with Lebron, seriously? No, he isnt quick enough, he guards bigger guys mainly. Iggy doesnt get enough minutes and is aging, isnt the same defender he used to be. He couldnt even defend LBJ when he was younger. They wont throw Klay at him much, mainly bc of foul trouble and it will tire him on the offensive end.

Barnes is their best bet.

Another point is if you put Draymond on him then they would have to go to a bigger lineup, unless Barnes guards TT which would be an absolute disaster for GS on the boards.

Everyone is forgetting about Kyrie. I guess he isnt important. He was playing good when he only had one leg. If he gets close to 100% that changes things bigtime for GS. They have to worry about two monsters and one that can shoot lights out.

This pretty much sums it up, especially the part about Kyrie.

There's a good chance either team could take this series, no question about it. I find it very hard to believe it's over in 4 or 5. If Cleveland can win one of the first two at the Oracle, that is huge. The Q has been every bit as hard a homecourt advantage to deal with as anyone in the NBA over the past few months, including GS.

I think we'll be in for quite a finals in terms of entertainment. Both teams are playing extremely good basketball right now, so we'll see which one comes out on top.

Amazing the difference in celebration the last 2 nights. Cleveland were acting like they won the NBA finals last night (was surprised to see Lebron act like that since he's been there 6 times now) but GSW is handling like we still have more work to do

Having watched both in their entirety I have no idea what you saw to lead you to that conclusion.

Where did this chart come from? I'm wondering how Bogut is seen as an advantage over Mozgov even though his numbers aren't as good, he's older and he's more injury-prone.

Game 1 was early in the year, didnt have nearly the same team, they still had Waiters lol

Game 2 the Cavs had their same lineup including Love who had 16. They couldnt stop James.

GS has real pressure. The pressure you say James has is the perspective from the fans, the last thing he is worried about.

He plays good defense but GS doesnt have guys who can score in the post really. Draymond can every now and then, were are unlikely to see Ezeli go off like he did, and Bogut isnt the same player offensively he is averaging like 5 points in the playoffs so far.

Wiggy bringing up shit people said in December before the Cavs added 3 important players. The Cavs roster from November and December would have been eliminated by Chicago. Also who are all these people that picked ATL? Almost everyone on here picked the Cavs. I remember at most 2 or 3 people excluding the Hawks fan who actually picked ATL.

Bringing up people picking the Bulls is stupid also. Cavs fan once Love went down and JR got suspended didn't think they stood much of a chance vs Chicago either so cut the bullshit

Yeah, I picked ATL in 7, but that was just because I figured it could go either way and went with HCA.
