We are finding out about a lot of players this year and that is good. Even if what we are finding out about them is negative at least we are finding it out this year when it really doesn't matter. I just wish Rua hadn't have gotten hurt as I really wanted to see what he had as well. We have several OF prospects making their way up the ladder and I would really like to see what Rua has before those other guys are knocking on the door. Of course, there is always 2B for Rua when he gets healthy though.

I might be in the minority, but if he proves healthy I would still lean towards Profar. I don't want him there this year, but eventually I would have no problem with Rua being a bench player. I just want a chance to see what he has before that decision is made.

In non-Ranger news - Noticed Weaver is 0-4 with a 6.29 ERA and Adam Jones is hitting .402. And what is going on in Houston. A 10 game winning streak? That is crazy.

I still can't get over how we turned Michael Young, Ian Kinsler, Mike Napoli, Josh Hamilton, David Murphy, and Nelson Cruz into Robinson Chirinos, Carlos Corporan, Prince Fielder, Shin-Soo Choo, Leonys Martin, and Carlos Corporan.

I have no problem with any of the former group departing because, in every case besides Cruz and possibly Kinsler, it was their time to go. But I just can't beleive that we replaced a group of All-Stars with nothing but a huge pile of rotting garbage.

We overpaid and clearly over-valued Choo and Fielder. We over-valued Martin. The supposed savior Profar hasn't been healthy. And Elvis was a HUGE waste of money.

Things are so awful now that Kyle f'ing Blanks is our 3rd best hitter. Fielder (minus the power), Beltre, and Kyle Blanks. The rest of the lineup doesn't belong anywhere near the Majors.

It's almost like we're fielding a team this year because we're required to by MLB. We're not even getting a good look at what we might have that is usable in the future, other than Nick Martinez as a solid back-end rotation guy.

So frustrating to just waste an entire season.

Houston is rebounding from a terrible year and proving a turn around is only a step or two away.

The fact that Houston is winning that many games just proves how unprofessional and careless our team is. Jose Altuve, George Springer, Evan Gattis, and a bunch of mediocre spares are putting up 6-8 runs most nights. We're struggling to put up 2-3 most nights with Fielder, Beltre, Choo, and a bunch of mediocre spares.

Boston's team offense improved significantly as soon as Magadan left and ours has stunk on a historic level since he arrived. I don't understand what anyone in the FO sees in him.

Sorry DT.....but I tried to ignore this little boy but couldn't. Even contacted management about how to go about doing it. Apparently there's a ghost in the machine. When I've tried, it takes all the threads off the cycle as well.

In any case, I'm not trying to run anybody off. Nor "take-their-leave." Now that's pretty rich.

If someone can assist on how to ignore someone without deleting the most recent threads, I'd appreciate it. There's a wayward child who would like it as well.
