I'd like to see us win this series actually, for 2 reasons: I hate this team and their cheap style of play ( most of their hitters would rather draw walks than swing the bat.... Especially Sogard) and maybe it would make the AL west race more interesting.

Considering who we have pitching I see Oakland having a good time in this series. But crazier things have happened.

Just happened to notice that Joe Ortiz pitched an inning last night with Frisco. Gave up 2 hits but 0 runs. That was his first game back. He pitched a couple of innings at the Arizona League.

No telling what Williams will do. If the team can't get up for the A's then there is not much left. Play for 2015 and pride is about all to hope for. This should be their WS. We'll see.

I guess he was expecting us to be impressed with the A's season so far. All that matters is the postseason. I still think the A's are a team built for the regular season and will crumble in the playoffs.

For whatever it's worth, it seems many in the national media seem to think the Rangers made off quite well with the trading of Soria.
