I could say, I never heard of this spying thing but there goes another 6 pages of northeast spin. I don't care anymore, it was yesterday and over and done. This guy needs to go back to the Patriots page and enjoy his team and leave the Rams alone. No one wins in the discussion but the real losers are the ones that come to this subject looking for a Sammy Watkins story and get dribble. Let it go and maybe he will go.

If you guys want me to leave it alone and go back to the topic, which is what I was originally discussing when your own fans brought it off topic, then talk about that, and stop dragging up old lies.

Evans> Watkins

Take Clowney at 2 and Evans at 13 if you desperately want a receiver.

Evans is a project type of WR. He's a prime example of a guy who doesn't run routes and just uses his height and speed to dominate CB's. However in the NFL this doesn't usually translate into a good WR. These guys who dominate know how to run routes and are smart football players. I'm not saying he wont be one day but we don't need another 3 year WR. Take a look at Julio Jones. He's a prime example. He came into the NFL and was faster, bigger, and a better route runner than Evans and he took 2 years to develop into a good WR.

No to Clowney. Where would he play? We have two fantastic DE's already and 2 back ups in Hayes and Sims that are arguably starters for other NFL teams. DE is not an area of need at all. :laugh3:

btw next time someone brings up "that" issue just ignore it. As in don't respond to it. It's an un-winnable topic.

Watkins at #2 and Lewan or Pryor at #13. The Rams need Sammy to go along with Austin in this division. The Rams also need a top talent OT to keep the run game going. Saffold resigning was good at OG, draft another one in the 2nd or 3rd and find a safety in the 2nd or 3rd. QB in the 4th or wait until next draft.

The difference between Clowney's talent and the talent of anyone else in the draft is too monstrous to pass up. If your coaches can't find a way to make the team substantially better with the talent Clowney brings, they don't belong in the NFL. Put him at DT a la the giants of a few years back. Let him wreak havoc.

Evans tomorrow is better than Watkins tomorrow, and his upside is better.

I know his 3.5 sacks this year were insane at the collegiate level this past year :P

Bucket of ribs says he bust out of the NFL. ........just found a new topic for this week to pass the time

Oh no. He didn't try because he's a guaranteed top 5 pick and college doesn't matter? So terrible.

He won't bust.

Mike Evans is good, but he doesn't have near the explosion of speed that Sammy W brings. I'm not sure how good Evans can be, but Sammy Watkins can be a top 5 WR in the next 2-3 years.

The real question is will Evans be able to get separation from NFL DBs?

Clowney has some issues that you seem to ignore too. He pissed away his last year at South Carolina - taking plays off. How do you know he's not all about the paycheck?

Answer is: you don't.

Sorry I want my #2 pick overall to be beast that's hungry to be the all-time best at his position.

But then again, I'm talking to a Pats fan that's in serious denial.

LOL I'm going to disagree. Look at college basketball where guys are 1 and done, leaving early, not ready and now the NBA is a joke because of it. You think NBA is as good as it was in the 90's? 80's? Hell no not even close. WHY? Because these kids are..

ALL ABOUT THE MONEY.

So tell me again how college football is a joke. If it was a joke, the NFL would be a joke just like the NBA.

Attitude is alot! And Clowney has tude issues

I think I am finally on the Sammy Watkins bandwagon. I think with Saffold having resigned, I think our best course of action is Watkins at #2, a FS (Dix or Pryor) at #13, OG in the 2nd, OT in the 3rd and then some combo of QB,RB,DT,CB,OLB in rounds 4 thru 7.

:agree:I would have to think Lewan if he is there at #13 but safety is a huge need for the Rams. The best OG in the 2nd would be huge for the OL.

Okay - I count SJ, Clayton, ksu, blue, and myself on the Sammy freight train! The train doesn't pull out for another seven weeks or so. All aboard?
